A Must Have!!
Being a free-lance MUA I'm always looking for good quality makeup tools, and this Shadow Shield does a good job at eliminating any mascara smudges. There are other's similar to this, but the E.L.F one is by far the best! It has a soft silicon shield and fits all eye shapes. It is also reversible (which makes it easy to handle for either right/left handed users). This item is so popular with cosmetic enthusiasts that it was out of stock from the E.L.F website, hence why I bought mine in Amazon! Will be buying some more to give to my Mum, Aunt and teenage daughter.

Difficult to use!!
Was very excited to try this out but it's rather hard to use on yourself. I only wanted to for my mascara but it prevents me applying my mascara properly, and I hardly use it now! Also it same away from the handle within days of receiving it!

Don’t waste your money
Had high hopes for this but I was really disappointed. The shield part is silicone, but the way that part sits in the brush handle is also silicone so it’s really floppy! This makes it really difficult to use!!! Please don’t waste your money.

Really not easy to use. I had high hopes for this but will stick to my diy versions for catching eyeshadow fallout which are easier and much more effective.

What was I thinking?
I bought this as I thought it would be handy since I always seem to get mascara on my top lid. This particular shield is far too floppy for me making it very awkward to use.

Excellent!
Love it! Great for when applying very pigmented eyeshadow or even mascara. Fits perfectly under the eye.
