It definitely cleans the scalp but you can’t help but let it get onto the rest of your hair whilst washing it off and it made mine extremely extremely dry, like nothing else

You SO need this!
If you regularly use any product on your hair for styling - leave in conditioner, dry shampoo, styling cream, mousse - anything...then you more than likely need a clarifying shampoo. Curly hair that stops curling the way you want it to? Greasy hair that needs washing everyday? Hair getting lank? No volume? This is the stuff for you. Depending on your requirements, use once a week or once a fortnight, then style in your usual way with your usual products. You'll find that the products will now work as they used to as they are now being applied to super clean hair. If you hair is lank or greasy, just condition the bottom quarter or leave it out completely for your clarifying wash. Hey presto! Booffed! I couldn't live without it!
