I think I've finally found the product I was looking for, literally for years. A very long time ago, I was gifted a nice Braun clipper by my lovely wife and that was the only product that came close to this. She's been my at-home barber since covid and very fussy when it comes to clippers as she says all the clippers since the Braun have wasted her time. I have my hair cut my hair very short, as I keep the sides and the back ''zero''. As with any German product, the Braun did not last that long though the quality of the product, while it worked, was excellent. The motor just stopped working, I think just before Covid. Since then I have not had luck finding a clipper for my perfect ''zero shade''. I tried many brands including Phillips, Braun, Wahl etc and I even bought a very expensive Poseidon brand (abt $350) and all of these could not give the perfect zero shade. I decided to try my luck with this product, and guess what - this cuts it (the smaller 0mm clipper) exactly the way I want it to. This one has top notch build quality too, it's made of steel and aluminium, and cheap plastics aren't to be seen anywhere. Feels good to the touch, has a built-in screen to show battery power, nice and solid though a bit heavy all showing how well built this thing is. I can finally stop hair clipper shopping. Don't think twice if you're into hair clipper shopping, just go for this one..

Like a lot of people, I was looking for ways to cut expenses while I focus on a major career goal, in my case, preparing for the CPA exam. I was spending roughly $60 per haircut every two to three weeks, which adds up to around $1,400 a year. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I picked up the Suprent Pro along with the 247 Groomed Self Haircut Kit and a 3-way 360 trifold mirror and got to work. First haircut, surprisingly good. I followed a YouTube tutorial from start to finish and was genuinely impressed with the result. Second haircut I got overconfident, skipped the tutorial, and paid the price. Lesson learned. I'm happy to report I've come a long way since that second attempt. With a little patience and the right guidance from YouTube and TikTok have made learning this skill very accessible. The Suprent Pro delivers consistent, clean results. On the clippers themselves, they feel solid and well built, nothing about them feels cheap or fragile. The motor has real power behind it, cuts through thick hair without bogging down or pulling, and the speed is consistent whether you're doing a full cut or just cleaning up edges. The zero gap T-blade gives sharp, precise lines and the kit includes everything you need to get started. Appearance wise these look and feel like a professional grade tool, the kind you'd expect to see in an actual barbershop, not a drugstore shelf. One unexpected bonus, I've been using it as a shaver and it has completely replaced my Norelco. I'm not sure that's an intended use, but it's been working well for me. If you're on the fence about cutting your own hair, the learning curve is real but short. This kit makes it worth every penny and then some.

All I can say is amazing product, where have you been. Over the last few years, I’ve bought numerous trimmers and clippers, so I can ditch the razors. I believe I’ve finally got it. It even out performed my Wahl. I’ve even tried Hattekers, Remingtons, Phillips and Surpent Pro seems to have nailed it. It’s been less than a week, but so far, it’s low noise, cordless, strong, doesn’t hurt and the trimmers shave almost zero gap. They were low enough that I shouldn’t have to worry about my ingrown hairs. I was able to zero gap the clippers, which is a plus for me. I haven’t tried that on my face yet, but I did on my head and I love it. They didn’t cut me. It didn’t run hot, in fact it stayed cool to the touch. In maybe 5 minutes, it lost 2 percent battery with the clippers. The trimmers just have a blue light, so I’ll have to run it down and see what happens. Now I need to find a case for it to hold everything. If I run into any issues, I’ll update the review. For now, I’m thoroughly impressed. UPDATE: I've used the clipper set 8 times since they've arrived on the 6th, it is now the 21st. The battery is at 74 percent. Every time I used them, it's clippers on my head and trimmers for beard. I have not used razors since the 6th of February 2023. I used to shave every day for years with a razor and follow it with bump patrol even. I have over 30 years of experience with different razors, clippers and trimmers, trying to find the perfect one so I could save money on razors. This set is still by far the best I've used. For the clippers, I had to re-gap them to zero, it was my fault. I was slightly off, and the clipper cut a nice short line in my head. Only a flesh wound. Lesson learned. The clippers are zero gapped straight now and work perfectly. The trimmers are perfect how they are. I use them on the crease of the neck and down and on my face. I maintain a goatee and the trimmers do a great job of lining and cutting the rest of my face close. I oil them after every other use. I use a thicker brush to clean them. I never understood the flimsy brushes most clippers or trimmers come with. I used bump patrol once, when my zero gap was off. I no longer have ingrown hairs. Also, the clippers and trimmers don't get hot, they have stayed cool every time I shave. I hope this helps people trying to accomplish the same thing, ditch expensive razors and have a close shave or near close shave. Almost forgot, I got the Maoershan EVA Hard Case that was made for this set. It’s not molded, I wish it was, but it does fine for now, the clippers don’t slide around. I’m still looking for a molded case though.
