I've had this light for a week now. It's replacing a 200-watt incandescent floor lamp in my studio apartment. It's been on pretty much continuously at max brightness whenever I'm home and not sleeping. It's a little brighter than the light it replaces and everything has worked perfectly the whole time. Thumbs up from me for no internet connection at all or apps or anything. Assembly is easy and weight is fine - light enough to be easy to move, heavy enough that it's not likely to tip or fall under any conditions normally found indoors. The remote and lamp controls all work fine. You don't really need the remote, you can do anything with the on-lamp buttons too, it's just a little clunkier. There's a magnet for hanging the remote that holds it up nicely. The magnet is on the remote itself, so it'll stick fine to anywhere on the lamp pole or any other handy metal surface. It does remember the last brightness and color setting it was on when you turn it back on. The power cord comes out the side of the pole near the bottom, not through the bottom. Not a big deal, but not quite what some of the pictures say. Heat isn't much of an issue - being on for hours at max power in my warm apartment, the AC adapter is barely warm to the touch, and the main lamp module is a little hot to the touch, but it isn't going to burn you or anything. Certainly less hot than a similar brightness incandescent. So everything works great with this light for now. My only concern is longevity. The LEDs do not appear to be replaceable as far as I can tell. Hopefully this will keep on going strong for years, but no way to tell for sure now.

It comes nicely packaged. The pieces are separate, but the cord is already through them. So, all you have to do is screw everything together. The instruction book is well written and helpful especially when figuring out how to use the buttons. The Lamp: The lamp has good ranges of both brightness and color. The base is nicely weighted and I feel the whole lamp is sturdy. The main lamp will swivel side to side and can fold all the way down to the pole. It will also rotate, which makes it so you can put it to whatever direction you want at almost any angle. The arm for the side light is very flexible and allows that light to be pointed whatever way you want. There are control buttons on the pole and it also comes with a remote control (2 AA batteries NOT included). The handheld remote: My remote was already paired with the light, but they do have instructions on how to pair it if for some reason it wasn't paired. It does need 2 AA batteries that were NOT included. The remote can be magnetically placed on the pole if you don't need it elsewhere. The remote has separate controls for the main light and the up light. You have a button for light color temperature and a button for brightness and a button for on and off for each lamp. There are also buttons for night mode and reading mode. The buttons on the pole: It has 3 buttons on the pole. They are VERY touch sensitive. The top button is for on and off (short touch for main light, long touch for small light.) The second button down controls the main light (short touch for color temperature, long touch for brightness.) The bottom button controls the small light (short touch for color temperature, long touch for brightness.) Using a smart plug: I bought this lamp to use with a smart plug and I'm happy to say that it does work with the plug! It keeps both the color temperature and brightness settings when you turn it on and off using the smart plug. Though when you turn it on using the smart plug there is a short delay before it actually turns on (you do not have that delay if you turn it on using the remote instead.) Using a light switch: Well, I didn't test this, but a light switch would work exactly like using the smart plug. So, you'll see the same thing. It will hold the color temperature and brightness when switched off and back on, but will also have a short delay from when you turn on the switch to when the light actually lights (you do not have that delay if you turn it on using the remote instead.) What I like: I like how bright it is and being able to set the warmness or coldness of the light. I didn't expect to care at all about the side light, but I love it's very flexible arm! I really like that it works with my smart plug (and holds the color temperature and brightness I set before turning it off) and don't mind the moment delay in it turning on. What I don't like: I really wish they had a way, a light or something to tell you that you are at the brightest or in the middle or which color temperature you are at or near. the buttons just cycle you through everything. I end up having to go through all the brightness choices several times because I'm never sure I'm at the brightest until it switches to not being bright (same for color temperature). I also don't like the night mode and book mode buttons. I'd like them if you could press them a 2nd time and get back to the color temperature and brightness you had before going to night mode, but you can't. To get back to where you were you have to once again step through the color temperature and brightness levels. To sum it up: I love this lamp! It's going to do exactly what i need, which is to light my tall ceiling. It has a nice, bright setting that will definitely do the trick and it works with my smart plug!

Love the different levels of daylight-to-warm light, which you can adjust gradually after learning the settings, which takes a little experimentation. Goes superbright to dim as needed and helps light up around 600 sq ft space well. The base is sturdy and everything's functional even if there's maybe just a slight angle with connecting pole to base, very easy to assemble, modern clean look that works well for transitional spaces. Haven't played with all the functions yet but so far the remote is working well, too.

I love the dual lights feature. I have another similar lamp without the reading light. This one adds more light to the room. The controls on the pole are a bit tricky, but the remote is fabulous and it is magnetic so I store it right on the pole. I wish the bounce light had smart controls. If the reading light connector could be a bit longer, it would be useful. I want to put it behind the sofa to light the center seat, but the arm isnโt long enough so Iโm limited to wither side.

Excellent for dark spaces, and mimics the sun shining into your space. My home office, during certain parts of the day, can be pretty dark. Iโm not a big fan of bright white light and prefer warm light. I needed one lamp to light up the whole room without needing to buy two lamps, and not having one take up too much floor space. I love that I can adjust the warmth of the light, and set a timer for how long I need the light on. I also love that I can angle both the main headlight and the adjustable side light to direct light where I need it. I also appreciate that the remote is magnetic so I can put it on my metal bookshelf, and the actual light fixture has its own buttons to adjust the brightness. Also, it was super easy to assemble (maybe less than 15mins), and lightweight enough for me to move it by myself (itโs probably less than 20lbs). It is tall, Iโm 5โ7โ, so it was easy for me to carry, but maybe for anyone shorter than 5โ5โ you might need some help.
