What an absolute timesaver. These work well 98% of the time, the odd time you lose some copper strands on thinner gauges, but most of the time they just work. The wire cutter is nice and handy, and the spring loaded handle is convenient for those times that you’re in an awkward positions, and overall ease of use. After buying mine, I’ve been buying more to gift family members.

I tested this tool using 26AWG wire, this was the only tool I could find in a reasonable price range that advertised it can strip small wires fast. It does the job very well, and I highly recommend this tool.A bit of advice, make sure your wires are as centred as possible, and use the tool with a methodical pace. This will ensure you don't cut your wires.

Really is a game-changer for quickly and cleanly stripping wires to a consistent depth and length. The cutter works better than I thought it would, too. My one caution is with small gauge wires. It says it will strip down to 32 AWG, but when I was stripping 18 AWG it was trimming into the wires. I was losing 1-2 strands of wire along with the jacket. Normally not a big deal but with wires that small you don't have that much to lose.
