This is fantastic for carrying along for hikes or electrolyte replacement during travel. Of course it is perfect for long distance workouts. I pack it in a small plastic bag (I buy the 2x2 in for vitamins and supplements) and carry in my dry sack for long distance canoe or hikes. Then just pour in your water bottle. On the airplane, I add it after security at the water bottle station. In both instances I feel more energetic and no more cramping from dehydration. I like the lemon flavor. I wish they had orange. The powder mixes well.

Taste is good, i prefer lemon. Comes with a measuring spoon. The mix has no stevia added- which is hard to find. Easy on the tummy. It is a little more money than other hydration drinks on the market. In my opinion skratch’s mix is worth it.

This is the only company of electolyte mix I buy. They are awesome. Flavors are great, doesnt have weird after tastes like other companies. Doesn't cause my stomach to feel weird either. Can't recommend them enough!

Update 8/20/2016: I think that Skratch has reformulated this product, because it dissolves much easier than before, pretty much negating most of my comments. It is still pretty pricey (especially in single-serving pouches) and can still get cakey (tip: store it in a very dry environment like the fridge), though. I would definitely give it a try though. Also, I recommend purchasing it direct from the company. The shipping is very fast and when mine arrived it had a hand-written note, stickers, and free samples of new products! ________________________ I've been using this mix for about two years and really like it. I find it especially good for bike rides of over 40 miles when I'm the most susceptible to cramping. Allen Lim designed this mix to be easy on the stomach and combat cramping, so in that respect it's certainly been effective. One of the key ingredients in reducing cramping, though, is calcium. This means that the mix doesn't dissolve as easily as others because the calcium dissolves more slowly. After pouring in the water, you will most likely see suspended calcium particles. If you use cold water, these particles will survive long into your ride. By the time you get down to the bottom of the bottle, the mix starts to taste rather gritty. I've tried to figure out a way to eliminate this gritty texture. The most successful strategy has been to mix the powder with a little bit of lukewarm water and then let it sit overnight. The day of your ride/run/exercise, you can add cold water and/or ice cubes. I only buy the mix in individual packets because it's very susceptible to moisture and will, as other reviewers have mentioned, turn solid. In my experience, even keeping it in an airtight container isn't enough. I've tried the lemon/lime flavor, which is nice and light. This isn't a mix that will taste sugary, although it does tend to leave your mouth feeling a little puckered after a couple hours of drinking it. The flavors are also natural, so you won't get that artificial flavor you might be used to with other sports drinks. This can take a little getting used to. For instance, the orange flavor tastes a little like tomatoes to me. Not that I'm complaining! This is good stuff.

This is the best electrolyte drink mix I have tried so far. Subtle flavor, slightly sweetened with sugar (just a touch), and the best results I have had with a similar product. Highly recommend.

I've tried a lot of electrolyte mixes over the years, and Skratch is the only one that's ever actually done the job. I've never really understood the obsession with zero-sugar electrolytes. If you need electrolytes badly enough to reach for a mix, odds are you're working out, and at that point the carbs and sugar are helping you, not hurting you. Gatorade has the opposite problem. It's so loaded with sugar that most of the time it just leaves me feeling like crap. Skratch is the perfect inbetween. I play beach volleyball, and the Florida summer is brutal. I'm supposed to be getting somewhere around 4,000 mg of sodium a day to keep up with what I sweat out. Most mixes, I drink them and feel basically nothing. With Skratch I can actually feel the difference. I feel hydrated, my head's clear, and I'm ready to play. I recommend it to everyone I'm around, players and coaches both. One of my favorite products I've found in a long time.

Was first introduced to this while dealing with altitude sickness in Breckenridge in 2023, and I’ve been buying it ever since. I love the flavor, and it’s been great for my migraines too.

I like the hydration powder from Skratch Labs a lot, did a bunch of searching to find something without artificial sweeteners, and it paid off. The taste itself is light and sweet, not overpowering like a soda, and the tangy citrus/lime flavour really masks the taste of the neccessary minerals that can be a bit too salty in some products. The instructions on the package says to use a number of scoops of powder to amounts of water, and the scoop is included inside the package. The product mixes very well, no clumps or otherwise. The bag itself is resealable via a zip-lock, so the solution does not absorb moisture from the air. As a light user I this will last me a long time. For heavy work, training, trekking or other outdoor activities replenish your salts! Stay hydrated! A solid recommendation from me.

Both my kids love it for practice and racing day especially when traveling and no time to do our own hydration mix. Flavors are good too, Lemon lime is the favorite here!
