No aftertaste - and healthy
I got this after reading a book by a doctor about how regular syrup is bad for your health and he recommended this. I love it. It is a little thin, but tasty with no odd aftertaste.

Best for my buck.
Very tasty but a little thin. Watch that 1st squeeze, may get too much 'til you know how it squeezes out with your amout of pressure. I will keep buying this one as it is the most economical that I have found.

Healthy sugar replacement and tastes great
Love this as a sugar free replacement and also love the convenience of amazon delivery when I need some in a hurry and donโt have time to go to the store.

Product is great, but the bottle needs a redesign
I really love this product and use it all the time. However, the past two bottles have had major leakage issues. Once you tip the bottle and squeeze out some syrup, it runs into the cap. Then, when you turn it upright, the syrup runs down the outside of the bottle. I've been using this for years, and the bottles would get a little sticky on the outside, but it wasn't a big deal. However, the last two bottles have had major leak issues. When I turned it over and sat it down, several tablespoons ran down the bottle and pooled on the counter. This product is expensive, and I don't like that the poor bottle design wastes the contents.

Keto cookie dough bars! DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS
These were gone in one night! So easy, no bake, quick and satisfying! ยฝ cup coconut oil, melted ยฝ cup sugar free maple syrup 3 cups almond flour ยฝ teaspoon salt 1-2 cups sugar free chocolate chips ยฝ tsp vanilla extract ยผ tsp of molasses ยผ cup of Lakanto brown sugar Line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside. In a microwave-safe bowl or stovetop, add your coconut oil with maple syrup and heat until melted. Whisk together until combined. Add the vanilla, molasses and brown sugar, mix until dissolved. Add your almond flour and salt and mix very well, until a thick, doughy texture remains. If the batter is too thin, add a little extra almond flour. Fold in ยฝ cup of chocolate chips. Transfer the cookie dough bar batter into the lined pan and press out into an even layer. Refrigerate. Melt your remaining chocolate chips and pour over the tops of the cookie dough bars and refrigerate until it firms up. Top with extra salt and slice into bars I added some Lilly's white chocolate chips into the dough also! If you want to add 1/2 cup of nut butter into the dough you can! Sooo versatile!

Nasty Aftertaste, bad package design
I bought this syrup because I'm trying to reduce sugar intake. I was very disappointed. First, it's expensive. Second, it has a bitter aftertaste, like stevia. Finally, the packaging is awful. It's a squirt bottle that you have to squeeze so hard it comes out and splatters everywhere. I finally threw a half bottle of it in the trash. I found a brand in Walmart called Cary's sugar free maple syrup. It tastes great, comes in a traditional syrup bottle, much less expensive, and has 3 grams of carbs per 2 tbsp and 2 of those are sugar alcohol for a net carbs of 1. The Pyure brand has 15 grams per 2 tbsp, 8 are fiber, 5 are erythritol for a net of 2 grams. Also, the taste of the Cary's brand is exactly like regular syrup and does NOT need to be refrigerated like the Pyure. Last thing: the Pyure brand has 25 calories per 2 tbsp and Cary's has 5 calories per 2 tbsp. No brainer for me!

Has a great flavor, thinner consistency
I have tried 3 low carb syrups: Lakanto, Choczero and Pyure. Choczero is the thickest, most like pancake syrup. Choczero's flavor was pleasant, but very mild compared to Pyure. Pyure has the strongest maple flavor, tastes most like pancake syrup, but is thinner in consistency. Lakanto is the thinnest, it is like water, and has a very sweet flavor with a sweet aftertaste. Lakanto was my least favorite. I am using it for making no-bake peanut butter balls and each of the syrups work good for this. If you are using it as pancake syrup, Choczero would be the best. Hope this helps.

Old stock from 2023! Expires soon!
Best before date is in November 2025, received on 22 July, quite disappointed with the short life span especially considering the price. Manufactured in 2023!!!

Great taste but ignore the runny texture.
Pros. Vegan and Keto friendly. We love this on waffles and pancakes. Cons. It's not very "syrupy" in the classic sense, but it didn't bother the family.
