Worth it.
Exceptional quality. Does the work of a full size screwdriver in a small easy to carry size. Fun to play with. Looks like a James Bond gadget. My favorite tool that I’ve bought in the last year.

My Favorite Screwdriver (For Now At Least)
Right off the bat, yes, this is expensive for a screwdriver. It is 100% a luxury item. For whatever reason, I love screwdrivers and collect them (I know, I'm weird). It's small enough to be a good EDC option, but you'd probably want to keep it in the vial since there's nothing else to cover the bit. The bit is held in there really firmly. (Like others, I need a pair of pliers to get it out.) The red knob on top lets you turn it to the right or left and is super convenient. (And if you need a little extra torque, you can pull the knob up to get the bar which fits in a slot.) Technically, it's not ratcheting, but you get the same effect. The grip is good. While I wouldn't say it's heavy, there is a bit of weight to it and it certainly doesn't feel cheaply made - everything is metal. I'd 100% endorse this as an EDC or desk screwdriver. Would probably be a good "general purposes" screwdriver for around the house - fixing loose screws, removing battery covers, etc. (I probably would worry about it getting "lost" in a really full junk drawer, given the size.) However, I'd stick to a traditional ratcheting screwdriver for woodworking or rusted screws.

Genius
This has quickly become my favorite bit driver. With the lollipop "head" in my palm, I can twist the shaft quickly with my thumb and forefinger - it's almost like having a zero-backdrag ratchet. Then pop the top off to get the extra torque to tighten things down at the end. Genius! The magnet holding the bits is very strong, so I don't miss not having a locking bit holder. The tolerances are good so there is minimal wobble even with longer bits.

Perfect center tool for EDC work pouch. Add attachments for any occasion.
This little tool is the center of my EDC work kit. 711L products are well thought out and pristine in manufacturing. I pare it with a ratcheting unit, a combo extension and hex bit/1/4” socket extension. Add a couple of torx units and this package can go from assembling a bed to field gunsmithing. PS. For those that have critiqued issues with grit in the tool, If you leave your tool dirty and kick them around in the sand any tool will become compromised. I have had both the aluminum and stainless steel bodied units. At no time has there been an issue with sand or grit in the slide. “Fix-It-Sticks” makes a “T” handle for their Torx wrenches. I replaced it with these - more usefull and compact.

Looks amazing but with no way to repair it?
Looks and feels amazing. The whole driver rotates around the handle on just a metal stainless steel ball joint inside an aluminum handle. Over time the harder ball could wear out the softer aluminum handle and the red handle will fall out. There is no way to repair or service it. But the company is now offering lifetime warranty when you register it online at their website. Edit 2/9/23 The manufacture provided this feedback and I will try to re evaluate the tool and update the review after a little more useage. Unfortunately I returned it already. (I needed up repurchasing it later after using the stainless steel version and seeing how useful it was) “As our engineers have decades of experience in designing and manufacturing bicycle parts and accessaries for many global brands, the issues you pointed out have been thought about and taken care of. The aluminum we used on the Lollipop is on par with the premium aluminum used in high end bicycle parts, and its surface has gone through a special hardening process. As a result, your worries about the ball joint wearing out of the aluminum handle will not happen even after heavy usages in a long period of time. With regard to the serviceability, it is our intention to design the Lollipop as un-seviceable by customers to ensure the rigidity. We have great confidence in Lollipop’s versatility and durability and offer 3 year of warranty.” *(now lifetime if you register into their website) Update 3/4/2023 I was wanting to give the aluminum Lollipop screwdriver another try but I was very reluctant to spend so much money to try again, even with the manufacturer explanation and only a 3 year warranty. I prefer to buy tools that have lifetime warranty and will last more then A lifetime. So I purchased the Stainless version even with the increased price. After using the stainless version for a week, it is every bit as amazing as the aluminum version and has a real nice heft too it. Aprox twice as heavy as the aluminum bit driver. If it was a Maglite you might say it is “A work of Art that Works™️“ It is beautiful to look at and use at the same time. I kinda regret not buying the aluminum version to test side by side but just can’t see spending that much money on something for heavy useage. Maybe for EDC or light useage in a bicycle kit bag the aluminum version would be great as it is light enough to carry everyday. But I am super Satisfied with the Stainless version as well. Update 4/24/2023 I have decided that this is great for a screw or two, but anything more, a ratcheting stubby is much more useful and easier to manage. Unfortunately it has moved from my EDC to a shelf in the kitchen, ready for when a quick fix is needed. Beautiful to look on the shelf and occasionally use, but for larger jobs with many screws I prefer my Snap on ratcheting screwdriver. Update 10/26/2023 I should of left it on the shelf but I started to feel guilty about it becoming such a expensive paper weight. So next day I put it in my cargo pants pocket but then forgot it was there when I emptied my pockets for the laundry. Found it in the bottom of the washing machine soaked. Now how can you dry it if it can’t be disassembled ? Ended up just hanging it upside down but what it really needs is a way to get it apart in order to clean dry and lube so you can be sure there is no sand dirt or pocket lint building up inside. Keep it out of your pockets and maybe it will last longer. Update 12/21/23 Went to use it again today and gave it a quick spin and the top spun right off. How? The top is supposed to be a free spinning screwdriver! How can you use a screwdriver if the top unscrews while using it? Update 12/22/2023 I am updating this to max stars because the manufacturer replied immediately to my concern and sent out a replacement and requested the damaged item returned for evaluation. The customer service after the sale has been outstanding and they really stand behind their products. Will the next one have the same issues? I will update if it does. Not sure whether debris got inside the shaft or the trip through the washing machine caused the shaft to bind????? Update 2/22/24 After receiving the replacement stainless driver and experiencing the great customer service I decided to also re-order the other aluminum version driver so can have one at home at one EDC for work. The stainless version was getting a little heavy wearing in a old leatherman pouch on the belt. The aluminum version is about half the weight. So far they both are working well.

Please add a bit release
This is a high quality fidget. It’s well built and the mechanism is very satisfying to use. I feel like it’s pretty pricey for what it is. My only real gripe about it is that there is no easy way to release the short-shanked 1/4 hex bit because the magnet is very strong. You’re either going to have to use 711’s proprietary bits with the collar that makes them easier to grab or use pliers to get them out, which is a pain.

Not Cheap, But Worth It
Extremely well made. A real pleasure to use. The build quality is reflected in the price. Like Knipex, you are getting what you're paying for if you need that level of performance.

Muy buena calidad, buen gadget, pero un pelin caro

The pop out lever for increasing torque is very satisfying and fidget friendly. Magnetic bit holder is strong enough that it makes removing the short 1/4" hex bit mildly annoying to move but not a con.
