Perfect fit for my Toyota Corolla Matrix 2012 (map lights) - great quality
This was a perfect fit for map lights in my Toyota Corolla Matrix 2012. Previously for my dome lights I used an non-brand cheap LEDs from the far East (the kinds that are made by putting chip LEDs onto a tiny PCB). It was awful - it's off in size just enough to not fit reliably. I had to file the electrodes to make them fit and even then, it's not a robust fit. But these Philips bulbs are Much higher quality and install instantly with an ideal fit (this time it was for map lights, as I mentioned here). Just watch for polarity - if it doesn't work on way, then turn it 180 degrees around and try again. The casing and bulb look very high quality so I expect a long life out of these. The light is brighter than the conventional OEM bulb, it's bright white - which is great for visibility. Overtime I would want to replace all bulbs in the car with LEDs and I'll definitely start with Philips. They are much pricier than off-brand versions but the quality difference is like night and day. Highly recommend the investment.

Perfect match with my truck
The Philips LED Tag Lights are a fantastic value and work exceptionally well. I've been using them for a while now, and I'm impressed with their performance. These lights are incredibly bright and provide excellent coverage, illuminating the entire area effectively. They're perfect for a variety of applications, from accent lighting to task lighting. One of the standout features of these lights is their durability. They're built to last, and I've had no issues with them so far. They're also very easy to install, which is a big plus. Overall, I'm very happy with the Philips LED Tag Lights. They're a great value for the price, and they perform exceptionally well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality LED lights.

Great bulbs with a warranty to back it up
These bulbs are PERFECT! I spent a bunch of money on various websites over the past 6 months trying out the cheapo, off brand LEDs that you get for a dollar a piece and let me tell you, they never worked well. I have an 05 Silverado with map lights that are designed to fit exactly around the old halogen bulbs. The โsuper brightโ LEDs Iโve tried (ya know, the ones with a million little chips sticking out of them) never fit because the base of the bulb is so much wider than a standard halogen 194. Even the ones that are made with a longer plug didnโt fit right. They would stick into the socket just enough to light up and keep from falling out but they never fully clicked in. These are slightly wider than original bulbs but fit right in there, with the perfect amount of space to get the reflector back on around it. Iโm going to update this review with an exact width measurement after I take a caliper to one of the bulbs. And theyโre actually brighter somehow than any of the other ones Iโve tried even though theyโve only got about a 1/3 of the size to work with compared to the other bulbs out there and thereโs a frosted plastic cover over the chips. Which is another plus with these. Iโve had cheap LEDs leave a sort of black soot on my dome light lens, the cause of which I determined to be burnt material from the edges of the board that the chips are mounted on. With a completely sealed bulb, thereโs no need to worry about any chip dust. So to sum it up.. 1. Crisp white and very bright light production. 2. Sealed bulb for less chance of moisture buildup and no flaking/ dusting from the chips. 3. Sturdy, thick prongs on the plug that fit tight into the socket. 4. Only slightly wider than a standard 194 (not enough to impede installation). 5. Cost as of the date of this purchase is almost $5 less than 194โs from other brand name manufacturers. 6. There is an 8 YEAR WARRANTY on these bulbs! Spectacular product from Philips! Iโm changing every bulb on my truck to LED and if Philips makes the bulb I need, Iโm buying Philips brand. Update: Itโs been over a year now and theyโre still lighting up my truck with the intensity of 1,000 suns.

Great overall quality
Bought 6 packs of the amber bulbs for an f250. Replaced all marker lights (4 for mirrors, 5 cab, 2 front side markers). Crisp color, compared to other cheap brands these are definitely less bright. It ultimately does not matter though unless you want them to be insanely bright. The biggest advantage of these bulbs is that they are very durable and constructed well. So far have had zero issues with inconsistency or flickering, no bulb fry outs yet. It's one led chip behind a diffuser, the quality and amount of light from just one chip is outstanding. Other bulbs have atleast 10 that are often brighter used together but without a good lense, making them these bright annoying dots which don't quite fill out the lense in an efficient way. The phillips bulb had a great diffuser lense and fills out each lense perfectly with great brightness. Previously had purchased 60 bulbs of a cheaper brand. Of 60 two survived. Spend your money the right way buy these philips.

Good product, bright enough
So I had some of the random led (red) lights in my Dome light set up for a little while, and they were very bright and I enjoyed them. But they fried out, and my mechanic 'recommended,' "DONT PUT THOSE BACK IN YOUR CAR". So I looked for something a little safer and more reputable, and found the Phillips lights. They were very easy to install. They arrived quickly. They worked great. And I don't have to worry about them frying out. The only thing that makes these light not a 5 star, is they're not as bright as the off-brand, over powered, fry your car lights. But for the higher reliability, I don't mind them being slightly less bright.

Much brighter than std 194 bulb, caused "bulb out" error message in DIC, one time message so OK.
A very nice LED replacement for white incandescent 194 bulb. BUT, the bulbs caused a "License Plate Light Out" message on my 2015 RAM 3500 truck's DIC. The error message automatically cleared and I'm wondering if it will return. Apparently, the respective computer must monitor that circuit for either a correct incandescent bulb filament resistance or respective current draw. Other than that, this 194 LED light is significantly brighter and much whiter than the 194 incandescent bulb it replaces, without being too bright. UPDATE: Error message never returned & so a nice one-time notice to check license plate bulbs. Also bought the Red & Amber color for red & yellow lens side marker lights, worked great. NOTE: "Amber" LED's are more yellow than amber. Good for yellow lensed marker lights but bad for clear lensed rooftop clearance lights fitted with 194NA (natural amber) incandescent bulbs. LED upgrades OK for rear and side marker red & yellow lenses and white license plate lights. Stay with incandescent natural amber bulbs for rooftop clearance lights.

Brighter white, but purely cosmetic
These bulbs change the color from yellow to bright white to match the other led bulbs of my Honda Ridgeline. They are the same wattage, so they do not increase the amount of lumens put out. But, the white does make it look brighter, which is all I was after. They fit in the 194 socket of my license plate lights and the bed lights perfectly. If they do not work when you first put them in, you just need to flip it in the socket. Time will tell how long these lasts. The same size DD bulbs in my Subaru do not seem to last more than a year.

Bulb is bright white, high quality, made in Taiwan!
There is few reason why I have purchased this bulb. First off, this is cheaper than other well known brands by few dollars. Second, Philips is a reputable company making good consumer products (just to name a few, Philips Hue, Sonicare toothbrush, Airfryer...etc). Third, the LED bulb is made in Taiwan not PRC, I can tell that it's made in high quality. Fourth, after using the LED bulbs for few months in my headlight housing as the daytime running time, it did not give me any issue at all (no annoying flicking) and it is bright! According to the spec, it's 6000K light color, and up to 8 years of lifetime. At last, I have no complaints and hopefully it will last.
