Do these have rubber or any kind of non slip coating on them? If not, do you find they slip easily when hands are wet?

Hello - here is no rubber on them. However, when you `open them out` ready to cut there are groove lines that aid in the gripping of them. I have found them to be excellent. I would however, never advise using any cutting implement when the hands are wet, be they scissors, knives, etc. I hope this helps.

How high is the opening on the larger clipper? I have seen mention on other Tweezerman toenail clippers that it is too narrow and not for thick nails
