I purchased this fan to replace a DIY job I carried out on my TV cabinet.My PS4 Pro is in a wooden TV cabinet with very little ventilation and the back of the cabinet would become noticeably warm when playing games, definitely not a good thing!To remedy this I cut out a square hole from the plywood back and fitted a PC fan that I soldered to a male USB connector (not ideal but it worked) to draw air from the back of the PS4 and out. While this certainly worked, I didn't feel too happy leaving such a botch fan connected to my expensive PS4 in case the worst happened.After some research I came across this product and despite it seeming a little costly for what is essentially something I created using bits I had lying around, I thought it would be worth trying.It arrived in a simple no-fuss box and I soon had it installed and set up.The key thing here is that the fan is rated for a 5V power supply unlike most PC fans (12V) so this runs nicely off the PS4's USB port and it moves a LOT of air compared to my DIY version. The metal grille ensures wires won't get caught up in the fan and it also gives a very high quality finish to the product.I opted for the variant with speed control so that I could turn things up only when needed.The fan cannot be heard over the TV and I am extremely happy with the product!

I bought these fan for distributing heat from my heating radiators. after 2 weeks use of the fans, I am happy with the quality and low noise rate. There are Pros and Cons:Pros: Low noise fan. Noise run at high mode can be compared with noise from a small laptop.Chassis is steady, solid. I left these on top of my heating radiators and they work fine.USB connection so I can plug them directly to my portable battery/other USB chargers.Low energy usage. My portable battery capacity is 12000mA, I can run 2 fans for a full day before I when to sleep and take them out for recharging.Cons: Same issue with all of these type of fans, cable from the fan will be glued on the chassis which feel flimsy.Price can be a bit less but with this quality it is acceptable.I will have a further update after a good time of use. So we can have a full picture of this product.

Quite a good fan with 3 speed settings. I bought it to put underneath my NiPogi mini PC. it is exactly the right size for that! There are two criticisms you could have of this fan - one is that it is quite noisy, and the other is that it does not have rubber feet. The bare metal of the guard rests against whatever surface you stand it on, so the sound of the motor is transmitted and makes a rattling sound! If you do soldering, then this fan can double up as a small extractor for you work area. As this fan has a finger guard on both sides, you can put it inside the case of a piece of equipment, such as an old Apple II or Amiga which you think requires additional ventilation. However, if this is not your need, I would purchase a laptop cooler, as that will be less noisy!

I deployed a fanless mini PC firewall appliance, but found that it was running hotter than I liked. I stuck some rubber feet on this fan and set it on top (120mm is ideal size), and run it on low speed off the USB port. It's practically silent, and very effective at low speed. Two years later, running 24x7, it's still working, and still quiet.

Very good little usb fan has 3 speed settings. It is a little bit louder than I expected as was expecting a silent fan but very fit for purpose.There is little in the way of instructions and couldn't figure out how the included screws were supposed to be used with the covered holes underneath the metal fan cover /guard but made a plan with the current screws and the guard on my applied surface which was thin enough to work with

Great little fan, compact, powerful and very quiet.

I purchased two of these to put at the rear of a cabinet to blow air in, to compliment the existing two fans at the front of the cabinet blowing out.They are OK. But folks who say these create a strong breeze are either plugging them into a more powerful USB power adaptor than me, or our expectations wildly differ.Let's put it this way, the "High" speed setting is the only setting worth bothering with. Low is almost off and Medium is ... an unimpressive turn of speed.I'm not going to send these back as they are better than nothing, are currently running silent and do help to create a through-draft or sorts, but the power setting switch is redundant in my opinion.I may try different power supplies and see if I notice any difference. If I do, I'll report back here.

Utilizzato per raffreddare un firewall montato a muro. La ventola e' stata agganciata al firewall per raffreddare le alette metalliche del corpo metallico che in condizioni di traffico intenso scaldano parecchio. Il prododotto funziona molto bene, possiede tre velocita' ed e' molto silenzioso nelle prime due (low and medium). A velocita' alta (high) emette un po' di rumore, ampiamente sopportabile e penso lo utilizzero' in high solamente nei mesi caldi in estate. Trovo molto utile e intelligente l'alimentazione via USB - questo permette la connessione a qualsiasi porta di altri oggetti nelle vicinanze come smart TV, router, HiFi, etc. o, nel mio caso, dello stesso firewall, evitando cosi' l'utilizzo di un trasformatore apposito per l'alimentazione. In aggiunta, la ventola in questo modo si accende assieme al componente da raffreddare, non appena questo riceve alimentazione.

Dzięki zwykłej wtyczce usb i regulatorowi na kablu można doraźnie stosować w upały z dowolnym urządzeniem w obudowie, które wymaga extra ruchu powietrza. Tylko nie da się go używać jako wiatraczka biurkowego, to w ogóle nie ta klasa pompowania powietrza.

Uno de mis mayores miedos en mi hogar es que pudiera haber un incendio y todas nuestras posesiones se hicieran polvo.Uno de esas cosas que pudiera generar ese problema es, din duda, el módem router de las operadoras de Internet, pues no tiene ventilación activa y se calienta mucho y más si como yo lo ponemos dentro de un armario con un extensor mesh fuera para el wifi.Mi solución al problema ha sido poner delante este ventilador a pocos centímetros del lateral absorbiendo el aire caliente que sale de los agujeros del router y dirigiendo ese exceso al fondo del armario en donde hay una generosa gatera por donde se sale el calor y aprovecha también para ventilar los pequeños transformadores que se encuentra en el camino.El ventilador al ser tipo PC es brushless, es decir, no tiene escobillas que produzcan ruido y si le pongo un trozo de paño no repiquetea en la madera del armario cerrado aún mejor.El resultado es que el router está frío, con lo que funciona mejor pues no recalienta el aire.El ventilador tiene varias velocidades, en verano pongo la segunda que da la mayor velocidad, y en invierno la más baja.Han pasado varios meses y el funcionamiento como en el primer día.A mi me ha solucionado un problema. Se ha adaptado al uso que le he dado. Es silencioso y multivelocidad. Encantado con el producto.
