Do you mean 5lbs by 80oz? If this is the case it just doesn't make sense as those are sold for $3.99 a bag everywhere.

Though this item may be "everywhere" for $3.99, on Amazon, you have to remember you are not only paying for the items you want to buy, but also, the ACTUAL cost of shipping something (in this case 10lbs), the cost of the item enough for a seller to make a profit (why we are in business in the first place) and the 15% commission that Amazon requires of all categories from it's sellers and not to mention cost of boxes, packing peanuts, ink to print your shipping labels etc. The cost does add up in order for you to not have to go to the stores and pay just $3.99.
