Amazon part finder says this PL14610 filter "does not fit" my 2014 Honda Civic but the L14610 filter does. Doesn't make sense does it?

Yes, I use this filter on my Yamaha FJR1300, and my Honda 919, with Rotella 5-40 synthetic oil

so will this work on my 2004 honda 750 shadow aero motorcycle?

The thread & gasket size are a match for Honda, Kawasaki, & Yamaha. Suzuki owners are out of luck unless they purchase a thread adapter. The Purolator PL14610 & Shell Rotella T5 15W40 is my oil change preference on my FZ1.
