Opening the tub you get an instant 'hit' of almond scent that lasts throughout the shave, which I like. I scoop approximately half a flat teaspoon amount of the firm (but not soap-solid) cream with my finger and whisk it into a viscous lather in a shave scuttle within 2 minutes. This gives me enough lather for 3 'Santa Claus' beards of luxurious passes with sufficient left over to soap my face again and leave there to soak up any nicks. The lather sticks to my face a bit like a thicker version of the cream on top of a trifle and gives me a smooth shaving experience, little or no shaving rash and my skin doesn't feel like it's been through the wars after I've rinsed it off. Based on the amount I use per shave, I estimate the 150ml tub will last me 60 shaves. Recommended.

This is by far the best shaving cream I have tried. That being said, shaving is a package deal so your mileage may vary. I have been using a merkur futur (at setting 2) with astra superior platinum blades. I use a boar hair brush. I shave 2 or 3 times a week (depending on my day offs), two passes with and one pass against the grain. In these two years I have made various experiments, changing one thing at a time. As far as shaving creams and soaps go, I have tried Tabac shaving cream, Tabac shaving soap, Arko shaving soap, Proraso Sandalwood shaving cream. I wet my brush, brush it on the soap or apply some cream on it then lather straight on my stuble (hence the boar hair instead of badger). Although I found that everything mostly works well enough, with Proraso being my favourite, this Cella cream-soap is by far the best. It creates a creamy lather that is less prominent that Proraso's but offers better glide - I might switch the futur to a 2.5 or 3 with this one. Same or even smaller quantity than Proraso on the brush will last for 3 good passes as well. Better glide is not always good because usually you need to apply more pressure to get a close shave which is a big no no with DE razors (any razor tbh) but that is not the case with Cella. I find it has a prefect balance. Although a £6 tub has an excellent cost for value, I've bought a bowl and a 1kg brick since the tub is slightly smaller than I would like when picking it up with the brush.

I hate electric shaving! So for 40 years I have wet shaved - it feels great, clean, and smells fantastic. So....I have probably used most products on the market. I won't be unrealistic and say this is the best, but it is certainly premium and competes with the "Mayfair" brands which seems to dominate, and is a little bit cheaper. Definitely in the top 10 shaving creams (don't buy shaving soap BTW as it is a million miles away from shaving cream.)

This is the Shaving cream of all shaving creams, has a great scent that lasts and moisturises the face leaving a fresh feel. My sons who are 21 & 15 are now even using it finding the original way of shaving better than the cans of gel and will only use this brand, a great original Italian shaving product. Highly recommend.

This shaving soap is OK. There are much better soaps out there, better but more expensive. If you are after a low priced soap that you can shave with then this one will do the job. The lather is not impressive, the glide is mediocre and you cannot expect any better at this price. The expensive soaps,,,Le piere Lucien lathers thick cream and moisturises as you go for example but you pay £30 for this particular soap as against Cella. I will not be using this soap but my advice is give this shaving soap a try and good luck.

I have sensitive skin, but I had read reviews that Cella was fine for sensitive skin, so I tried it and I love it! The scent is a mild almond cherry and is very pleasing. It doesn't make me sneeze or irritate my skin, which is always my problem with soaps. It is a soft cream/soap and it lathers exceptionally well. The foam is slick and protective, and it is tied for the best performing soap I have, along with Proraso white and Mitchell's Wool Fat. I've only used it for a week, so I don't know how long the puck will last, but since it's a croap I doubt it'll last as long as the hard soaps. Still, it's a fantastic shaving experience and well worth every penny. Right now it's my favorite shaving soap and I highly recommend it! Edit: I had assumed that since it was not a hard soap that it wouldn't last long, but I've had it for months and have barely made a dent in it. It's only been these past few weeks that I've been using it everyday though. Still, I've used it enough to say that it is a great buy for the money. Edit 2: It lasted approximately 8 months of shaving 4-5 times a week!

Possiedo e utilizzo moltissimi saponi e creme per la rasatura tradizionale, dai prodotti economici fino a marchi decisamente più costosi e blasonati, e dopo averne provati tanti questa Cella Milano continua tranquillamente a occupare il secondo posto nella mia classifica personale. È una crema sapone da 150 ml Made in Italy, con una ricetta storica che risale al 1899. La formulazione è tallowata: nell'INCI è presente Adeps Bovis, insieme a olio di cocco, glicerina e olio di mandorle dolci. Il montaggio con il pennello è molto semplice e con poco prodotto riesco a ottenere una schiuma ricca, corposa e protettiva. Durante la rasatura la scorrevolezza del rasoio è eccellente e uno degli aspetti che apprezzo maggiormente è proprio la sensazione che lascia sulla pelle. La profumazione è molto marcata, dolce e chiaramente mandorlata. Personalmente la adoro: è uno di quei profumi immediatamente riconoscibili che ormai associo alla rasatura tradizionale italiana. Ma ciò che secondo me rende questo prodotto davvero speciale è il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Ho utilizzato saponi molto più costosi che non mi hanno dato la stessa soddisfazione. Nella mia classifica personale soltanto Martin de Candre riesce a superarlo, perché per me rasenta la perfezione, ma entra anche in una fascia di prezzo completamente diversa. Cella invece riesce a offrire montaggio facile, ottima schiuma, grande scorrevolezza, piacevole post rasatura e una profumazione iconica mantenendo un prezzo estremamente ragionevole. Per un appassionato di rasatura tradizionale, secondo me è uno di quei prodotti che almeno una volta bisogna provare. Cinque stelle meritatissime.

Excelente, huela a almendras y cereza. Hace espuma rápido. Creo que podrían rediseñar el envase haciéndo un poco más ancho de arriba como los de proraso. Es de muy buena calidad comparado con algunos de gama más alta. El aroma no perdura tanto, pero lo importante es que lubrica muy bien.
