I measured all of the blocks in this kit with a set of high quality, calibrated calipers. They were all within the manufacture's given spec of +/- .001". I was actually sort of impressed. They look great too- all markings are clear and easy to read and the blocks look great. Unlike someone else that faulted the carrying case - I think it's a really nice case that looks like it will hold up well. The foam insert that organizes and separates the blocks inside is made of very dense, high quality foam too. I'd say looking around at other similar sets of aluminum setup blocks intended for woodworking these are a fantastic value. I might even buy a second set since the type of work I do having two of the same size is often handy. If these are the type of blocks you're looking for you can't go wrong buying them!

The set came in a nice hard plastic storage case, with a spot for each block. The blocks are very accurate. Unlike most, these blocks are marked (engraved) on each side with their measurement, as well as having a measuring scale on one side. With 16 pieces (15 blocks and case) you can't go wrong. I build acoustic guitars, as well as repairing guitars and restoration of historical guitars. I frequently need thin strips of wood. The blocks make it easier to set up the saw for several repeatable cuts. The blocks are nicely engineered and heavy. I highly recommend this set. UPDATE: I just received a message from Nietra to make sure the blocks arrived on schedule and in good condition. This speaks volumes about the their excellent customer service.

Product has been offered to me for review. Great bar set for woodworking. Plastic case seems durable, has 2 latches, is compact. Insert foam is rigid type. Great for secure holding power but difficult to take bars out (a finger notch would help greatly). Case layout is compact with 2 columns of bars (tight spacing makes it slightly more difficult to take bars out). Anodized orange color is awesome for visibility (makes white numbers easy to read AND makes it very easy to find even the smaller bars on my white outfeed/work table). The hard anodized paint has a shimmering iridescence that has really grown on me. The surface is extremely durable - hard to scratch and is easy to clean. The white laser etched numbers are some of the larger size I've seen with setup bars - makes it easier on old eyes! Also, every bar has 2 sides with the numbers; even the 1/16 bar! Most other setup bars have numbers on one side only. My calipers are broken so I could not confirm the "2" & "3" for the 1/2/3 block. For all measurements, I used a Starrett #436 1 inch micrometer that was zero'd and referenced. No bar was unacceptable for woodworking use. The largest deviations were 3 mils. I measured at 3 points across each bar. All bars were consistently uniform (w/i 1 mil across length). I recently purchased another brand (it's black with white numbers). I favor its case and insert foam BUT hands down, I prefer the Nietra orange bars for easy to read use. I wish manufacturers would include two additional size bars - 5/8" and 1/32" (like a shim). Overall, I highly recommend the Nietra set. I may receive a set for free but after using it, I would not hesitate to buy it.

These are the best thing ever made. They make setting up the table saw and band saw quick, easy and accurate!

I bought these because the previous reviews (sponsored by the company I believe) said they were of great quality and the pictures looked great! I will say I think these will do just fine for the applications that I need. However, they aren't perfect in size. The worst being the 3/4 where it hovered between 0.005" and 0.007" off. All the other sizes are around 0.002" off on the shy side. The color and imprint are very easy to read. Unlike some other inexpensive setup blocks, these are correctly labeled on the label side. The opposing length seems shy of 0.5" but is close. The carrying case is good enough with two catch latches on the side. The foam padding feels quality and the cutouts for the foam are EXTRA tight on removal. I'd recommend cutting out circles on the end of the holders and just having the set up blocks retained with friction in the middle. These can be removed but you have to push on one end while trying to pry up. It's a little difficult when all the pieces are in there. Overall, I'm using these for woodworking so I'm not too worried about couple thousands off. It is food for thought for the supplier though. Lastly, I didn't check the anodize. I don't want to try and scratch it to see how hard the coating is. It seems sturdy enough!

These metric clocks are great. I love the packaging and the 25, 50 and 75 mm block is an added bonus. I really appreciate the mm sizes provided. I have checked the accuracy with a digital micrometer and the ones I have a accurate to within a few thousands of a mm. Some are spot on and for what I use them for in woodworking they are awesome. If you want a solid set of blocks in a very nice case this is the set for you. I think the price is fair and not too high. I especially appreciate the accuracy of the blocks. I use them to verify wood thicknesses on purchases at the big box stores. Great product and priced well.

Good quality and overall happy with these purchase. A little pricey for what they exactly are, but then I’ve bought some real rubbish in the past and you’re better off just paying a reasonable amount in the first place.

Quality product. Well presented, well packed and well constructed. Delivery no overnight as it was shipped from the US, but only took a week to my door so no complaint.

Hard to find item. The orange anodizing is great.

I am extremely pleased with the pieces, the packaging and the sturdy safe carry box but mostly that the pieces re well milled and accurate and easy to read AND in METRIC.
