Excellent
These are a superb product. I purchased these in 2020 (it's now 2025) and they are still as good as new and cut perfectly. I'm so glad I pushed the boat out to finally buy something of quality for this mundane task. Highly recommended, would buy again without hesitation.

Yes, I Did Spend £16 On a Nail Clippers....
And it was worth every penny. I have thick nails. For years I used cheap clippers bought in a chemist or supermarket. I never gave them much thought. Then these were recommended to me. I almost fell over at the price but persuaded by the reviews and also my frustration at having hacked off nails from cheap clippers l bought these. They are excellent. Razor sharp and high quality. They cut very very cleanly. No more hacked-off fingernails. They leave a neat and tidy job. I am very happy with them. They were expensive but high quality and will last years. 5 stars.

The best you can buy
Delivered in expected time. The item itself is fantastic. Best nail clippers out there as far as I’m concerned and I’ve used a few. The cut is so clean that there’s no need to file after and they are so sharp you can cut the thinnest slice of nail and get the perfect shape just from cutting. If you’re looking for new nail clippers these are a must

Nice clipper
Only dislike is that the mechanism is very sticky ! Had to reduce star Rating unfortunately UPDATE although these are very good clippers I was very disappointed tonight when I was half way through cutting my nails and the pin broke at the bottom and the mechanism fell right out ! So its left me with half cut nails ! Not good. Over the last couple weeks the clippers have got extra sticky so tiny drop of oil added but alas they broke at the worst time.

Great For Delicate Manicuring
Most suitable for those with smaller fingers and toes. Cut is about the same width as you get with a clipper from a Xmas Cracker (and many shops). The only difference is that the Seki cuts cleanly and with ease due to good leverage and sharp jaws. Use with care.

Very good quality but perhaps a bit expensive
These are really good quality clippers, but also a hefty price tag to go with it. The clippers are sharp, solid and robust - in fact much more than a pair of nail clippers need to be. However, I have another pair of Seki nail clippers that I prefer - it has a clipping catcher which allows me to cut my nails anywhere and empty it after. This nail clipper has to be used above a bin... :)

The best nail clippers ever
I've tried quite a few clippers from simple cheap ones that come in Christmas crackers to Tweezerman. I'll include some comparisons here. I tried some 'Solingen' ones from Amazon - they were rubbish and I expect were fake - certainly no where near the quality of steel in my other Solingen razors, scissors and nail files. Champneys from Boots were quite sharp, and kept their sharpness for a while. Seki are way sharper and easier to use. The Champney had a lot of give in the handle which meant they didn't always cut cleanly. Tweezerman were good, but lost their edge too quickly. Like the Champney clippers, the handle also had some bounce so the cut wasn't always perfect. Conclusion: The Seki Edge are super sharp, and there is no give in the handle meaning they cut very cleanly. The attention to detail on these clippers is excellent - for example the handle is riveted into the pin meaning they don't fall apart when you squeeze them. The Champney and Tweezerman really feel like better variations on the cheap Christmas cracker clippers, the Seki Edge are very different to that - high quality finish, better blade alignment, different metals used to avoid flex. They're not cheap, but they are definitely worth the extra.

Good clippers, tough strong metal, keen cutters, for normal and small nails
Solid metal will last forever and cut well, on the small side for large mens nails, would purchase the larger toe nail clipper version if i knew. Recommend buying if normal or small nails is what you want this great product for. Unlikely to be suitable size wise for toenails apart from the dinkiest toe nails.

This is a very solid and very sharp nail clipper. It is made in Japan and while it costs more than something you would buy at Walmart, it works better than any nail clipper I have ever used. I was originally concerned that my hands might slip while using this (lack of a grippy surface) but these have an ergonomic grip which is not only comfortable but it doesn't slip. What makes them better than any other nail clipper I have used, is the amount of pressure it takes to use. A small amount of pressure ends up making a nice clean cut. They are very sharp. Finally, unlike the cheap, chrome coated nail clippers, this is actually stainless steel. The cheap ones end up getting chipped and sometimes the coating simply flakes off. If you are looking for a sharp and high quality nail clipper you will not have to replace anytime soon, spend the extra money. you will not be sorry you did.

Absolute quality, cuts with precision due to the very sharp clips. No cracking of the nails at all, just like cutting with scissors. The best nail cutter I have ever had. It's certainly not small or big, a good size really. Definitely recommend to all.
