This was a perfect use case for extending a velco strap that was too short.

No vinyl or stiff backing so only cloth with Velcro strip on one end. Hard to control behind one's back or side. My old extender works better.

Works perfectly! Had a coat for my dog that was a little too small. Helped extend velcro closure so I could keep it for her.
