I purchased these books for my grandchildren for Christmas and decided to read them first. The Limbaugh's did a marvelous job of presenting some stories of our American History thru the wonders of human imagination to transport the reader to times of the pilgrims or the revolution or early presidents. I was enchanted with the enthusiasm of learning, the determination of and persistence of our forefathers, and the wisdom of those who laid the foundation for our country. It was especially good to read the acknowledgement of things that needed to be changed rather than to try to erase problems existing in the past. I am sincerely hoping that there are frameworks of books that were not completed but that Kathryn Adams Limbaugh will finish and add to this series.

I could not send the books to my grandson until I read them -- all 5 of them! The horse Liberty brought comic interest and the time travel was fun. Most important to me was the history taught - which is the same history I learned back in the 1950's., and not the strange stuff that seems be going around now. The books were fun to read - both for the historical parts and for the present day history teacher, his students and his magical horse. Excellent quality content and presentation. I was also pleased with the presentation case and hardcover books. I believe they are targeted towards middle school children, but I gave some to 7, 8, and 9 year old grandchildren as well.

This is a wonderful set of stories that captivates the attention of young children. It has been great for teaching my 7 year old the important parts of American history. She is excited to read it every night and is retaining well due to the relatability. The stories follow a substitute history teacher and his magic time-traveling talking horse as they visit pivotal moments in American history with some students. The use of modern characters (and modern dialogue) as a presentation of history helps make the stories more relatable and aids in retention.

My kids love reading. A friend of mine recommended the Rush Revere books for my kids so they can read about history in a fun story form. After getting this book we got the whole set.

I love the humor and historical details in these well written books about major historical events that formed our great country. These books are for everyone, regardless of your sex, age, or political preference. These will be passed on from generation to generation and are treasures our children and grandchildren will remember and enjoy. Rush Limbaugh and his wife have taken us on incredible journeys in these books. We're so glad we purchased these last year. The books are more valuable to us now that Rush is gone.

My kids will not put them down and they are really interested in the history of the US. I could not be more happy with the books. Good humor and insight written in a way that keeps kids (8, 9 and 15 y/o) interested. Valid history that gives the reader a sense of the nature of the people who formed critical events in the founding of the United States; from the Pilgrims to the early leaders. My son keeps trying to reading instead of going to bed I have to take the books away at night.

Rush Limbaugh is an American patriot and found a wonderful way to introduce history to children. The books may seem high as far as price goes, but when you get them you will understand why. These books are not ordinary hardcover books. The books are solidly constructed, with heavy bound covers and pages that are thick and encyclopedia like in finish. I purchased these for a niece as a Christmas present. Her parents even said they have never seen books as well constructed as these. Clearly, a great product. The contents are just as good and a well thought out story that captures a readers attention. She loves reading them and so do her parents.
