Apple Elite is part of my daily feed mix for Florida horses. Easy to serve consistent dosing. The taste is good and makes horses drink water during cold days/nights. Recommend for horses on hay or pasture.

Great electrolyte replacement for thirsty donkeys and goats! We use this often during the warmer summer months and the buckets are usually empty at the end of the day. Helps with the health of your animals for sure and keeps the ammonia smell in their urine to a minimum.

I have a mustang that was on a different powder because he wasn't sweating enough in the heat and just breathing fast (come to find out he has Cushings). The other product was on backorder, so I tried this because I could get it overnight and it arrived just in time for the 100 degree heatwave in April. So the "bad": He drank an absolute ton. If I had not been checking his water three times a day he would have been out twice. The "good": He wasn't overly sweaty, wasn't panting, and liked the taste WAY better than the other powder. I sampled it b/c I wont' give my horses what I haven't at least tested and spat out, and it actually wasn't bad at all (don't use this as your electrolyte powder please)--it was definitely like a green apple taste/smell. It worked great, and I've continued it thorugh the summer at half the recommended dose. Good solid value for the money as well.

It's like Gatorade for horses! I'm on my fifth bucket of these electrolytes - and what a godsend! We are in south Florida, where it's hot every day of the year. In summer the temps hover around 95-100 every day. I don't ride often in this weather but even after I have turned out my horse for some exercise, I'll give him electrolytes. Thankfully, he loves the apple flavor and eats them with no problem. I can see the difference between my horse having these electrolytes, and some of his barn buddies he likes to play with out in the field. After they come in they tend to lie down from exhaustion. I wish I had the right to share some of these with all the horses in his barn but it's not allowed. :-(.

Very salty but I use a quarter TSP to hydrate with. The chloride content is really high for humans, but its okay. Doesnt taste like apple at all though. Good for the price and extreme sports!

Its a good product. But out of the three horses only 2 likes it. My picky mare doesnt want anything to do with it.

Hydrates my horse easily. Mixes onto feed and he loves the taste.

We put this in our horse’s grain on a daily basis and it helps to keep her hydrated. She drinks a lot more water. The price is very fair cheaper than buying it at Horse feed places. Not to mention names.
