Listen Without Prejudice Remastered

Amazing album. Arrived well packaged and protected. The vinyl is nice, thick and heavy and the sound is outstanding . Remastered tracks on vinyl are mind blowing and George Michael’s artistry and technique elevate this album. The musical arrangement. Can’t say enough. My fave of his! Get this, spin it in your turntable, pour yourself a glass of red wine and sit back and melt away your worries

I absolutely love this album but the quality of this vinyl pressing is terrible. Massively warped, scuffed and skips on three different songs. I could deal with the warping but the fact that it skips right in the chorus of “Freedom 90” is unforgivable. Returning and will hope for a better replacement. UPDATE. Amazon sent me a new copy and it’s perfect and doesn’t skip and George sounds as amazing as ever. Arguably his best album it sounds even better on vinyl. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I definitely feel this is his best album. Faith was fantastic and a huge commercial success. Classic George, but this follow up you got more of a introspective and personal George. He was at the point being over being considered a "Pop Idol" and wanted to shun that image. This album is deeper and personal. A lot of great album tracks that never were popular such as "Cowboys And Angels", "Mother's Pride", "Heal the Pain", and "Something to Save". Then you have the funky tracks like "Freedom 90" and "Soul Free". This is a far cry from the uplifting pop from Faith. Expect a more serious mood with this album with wonderful sounds and song writing. This is his best!

This George Michael CD is well done and sounds fantastic. All the songs on the CD are really nice. Not too often that I rip a cd with all the songs from the cd. Great CD and awesome sound quality. I ripped it in FLAC. Nice product.

This remastered Classic has brought this album back to Life …. I listened to my original first purchased and was amazed to see this remastered. The sound is so much brighter and clearer …I would definitely recommend this if you are a George Michaels fan and want the best sound .

This album is fantastic. The sound is very good, and I needed more George Michael in my life.

I purchased it brand new. When it arrived and I opened it, the LP desired to be better! It had some scratches and even some dirt on it. Having played it, I must confess that so far so good, there are no issues. However, still, the quality control must be improved!

Perfect Love it Thankyou

Now, I'm not generally a fan of George Michael's music, but I love this album. In the late 80s/early 90s my girlfriend at the time was a huge George Michael/Wham fan and we used to take it in turns playing cassettes in the car. So for every album I would choose (Buzzcocks, Big Dish, Pete Shelley, Hurrah!), she would have a turn - usually Faith (which is OK, but nothing special) and this. After its release she used to play this on all of her turns. Apart from "Praying For Time", which I've always found pretty tedious the rest of the tracks on this album grew on me until it became one of my favourite albums. When we eventually split up, I got my own copy which I continued to play every now and then. I've always regretted not getting this on vinyl at the time and only had the CD version, so jumped at the chance of getting this on release date last week. I, like many other, was very sad to hear George had died as he genuinely seemed like one of life's good guys and never took himself too seriously. Listen Without Prejudice undoubtedly contains my favourite George Michael music, although I do like Older. Apart from the aforementioned "Praying For Time", there are some absolutely stunning tracks on here; "Waiting For The Day", "Heal The Pain", "Freedom 90" and my absolute favourite "Cowboys & Angels" with its gorgeous bass-line (played by GM) and the wonderful string arrangement. It sounds brilliant on vinyl and I've been blasting that track out to the annoyance of my wife and son for the last few days. It would be nice if Sony/Epic released his other albums on vinyl - particularly Older - as the prices for some of his vinyl releases are ridiculous on the second hand market. Listen Without Prejudice is a masterpiece and a reminder of all the music we will never get to hear. However, his legacy is there and this album particularly showcases his fantastic songwriting ability and musicianship. A word or two about the new 180G vinyl pressing. It is only a single album, the track listing on the Amazon page seems to suggest this is a double album; it's not. Also, you don't get the MTV recordings, just the original album. Fine by me. The pressing itself is fantastic. Crackle and noise free. Simply stunning.

This is a very nice, quiet, quality pressing of a great album. In my view, an essential George Michael record to have on hand.
