I got the good medicine color and loved it but am looking for a top finish that is not fuzzy. Are there any with coating on the top?

It's just a heavy duty fabric, smooth finish, not fuzzy. I love this. I put mine on the bottom of the cabinet where the cookie sheets are. I cut it to go over where the front meets the base, it was getting nicked up from pulling out cookie sheets. Now they just slide out and my cabinet is protected!

Will this help prevent moisture, mildew & mold in kitchen drawers?

Our shelf liners will prevent moisture from dishes or glasses from soaking through to the underneath side. We cannot guarantee anything with mold or mildew.

Good for wire shelves?

Great question - I had not even thought about that option ... they are very thick and felt like with a good backing. I just placed it on some wire shelves in the bathroom and LOVE it. It not as smooth a surface as if you used a plastic or board like cover over the wire .. but it is a good option.

Are these heat tolerant, can be used on dining table as place mate/table runner or hot plate for pots?

Yes, they are heat tolerant on the top side of the mat's polyester fiber up to 350 degrees. You can use this mat as a placemat/table runner.
