Bought this following recommendations but it was horrible stuff, we followed mixing instructions and it came out all lumpy and not suitable to apply to the walls. I would rather buy premixed in future. Threw it all out!

Says it’s for 4 rolls, didn’t even hang up 2 fully. Adhesion kept coming off once dried. Also found this for a £1 in Poundland! Was a bit annoyed

Using this product on your walls prior to hanging wall paper will make a big difference once you get started on hanging your paper. It both helps the wall paper to grip well but it also allows the paper to be gently slid into position before brushing out any air pockets and trimming the edges. Old style product but always worth using.

Not entirely sure it's done anything.. The dry bits dont feel any different.. Also very messy like watery gloop

Seems that reviewers on here fall into two camps - those who think it goes a long way and those who, like me, find it inadequate. On the basis of other reviews, I had naively assumed that one relatively expensive packet would suffice for a tiny bedroom. Wrong. I could only get 2 walls pasted, and had to send for second packet. I didn't apply it particularly thickly, but must assume that others perhaps have less absorbent walls (not that mine seemed particularly absorbent). My parents used to do all their own wallpapering, and they always used diluted wallpaper paste to size walls. I notice that wallpaper paste packets no longer give dilution directions for use in sizing walls. Are we meant to believe that this quite expensive tiny packet of size is an improved product? or am I just being suspicious in thinking that paste manufacturers have found a way of getting us to spend more.

Brilliant quality, easy to apply and made wallpapering so much easier and there was no bubbles. Great value for money, 1 small bag goes a long way, I bought 2 bags, as the bags seemed small and thought I would need more than 1 bag. I was wrong, one bag was more than enough for the full room.
