Now I've gotten used to it, I like it. First "ball mouse" I've ever used in 30+ years so my muscle memory took some time to adjust. It comes with a wireless USB dongle (plugged into the base). Or you can use Bluetooth mode - there's a button on the bottom for switching modes. I've used both wireless USB and Bluetooth and they both work fine. I like the fact no mouse mat is needed. It works on my coffee table or on the sofa next to me. I wanted a top-ball mouse as my thumb is not as dextrous as my fingers. My right hand sits very comfortably on the mouse. The mouse has back+forward buttons which are handy in web browsers for going back a page and then forwards to the previous page. No need to move the mouse to the top left of the screen for the "<-" and "->" browser buttons. I charged it up on arrival. USB cable included for this. It's been running a week on a single charge, and I've been using it a lot. My previous mouse (single AA battery) would have died by now. The ball is removable for cleaning and has a decent weight to it. It'll hurt your foot if you drop the ball on it (I did this...). If you don't have space for an A4 mouse mat, or simply want to use a mouse on a sofa cushion without it sliding all over the place, then this is ideal.

Great trackball, I was worried that it would be uncomfortable to use, or really really big, but its a good size and fits in the hand well. The ball has a nice bit of weight so you can spin it and it'll freewheel from one side of the screen to the other and is very controllable. I've been having fun with it, no issues so far. Charge lasted me a week or maybe more, so no need to constantly recharge which was a worry. Scroll wheel is a little less notchy than I'd like. I also noticed a couple of missed scrolls, where the wheel would move a notch but the screen wouldn't scroll. This happened both in-game and on webpages. Not a big deal for me

having used a ball mouse for years this mouse works really well the scroll wheel works as it should the buttons work except one very comfortable to use, shame all the buttons done come up so you can program them I have had ball mice from most manufactures the giant mouse ball was my favourite and for how long they last if you take time to keep them clean its a no brainer

Arrives well packaged. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow. It has a wealth of ways to link up to your PC...and its easy to use. Takes a little getting use to but overall, a great tool.

It has taken me awhile to hold it properly but now it is great, I am left handed and it sits nicely in my hand

Did you used to buy those logitech trackballs that needed replacing every 2 months? Yeah you cant get them anymore I dont think or at least for a reasonable price and I panicked. Got this on a whim, I was like eewwhgg wireless ehgghh different shape, I need my gaming hands to be in prime position! I said, well this is actually ergonomic unlike the last ones and I realised my gaming hands were actually never in prime position to begin with. This is fanatic, finally a rollerwheel that works and makes sense and us lowly trackball users can now change weapons in games without having to use the cumbersome and often death-inducing weapon wheels. Yes Im talking to you farcry 5. Just wonderful, lasted me over a year and not a single problem.

La trackball arriva dentro una scatola di cartone, al suo interno troviamo anche: un cavetto usb ed il manuale multilingue compreso l’italiano. Il cavetto usb serve per caricare a batteria interna della trackball, ha un connettore tipo A da collegare ad un alimentatore, ed uno tipo C da collegare alla trackball. Sotto la base della trackball si trova la chiavetta usb per il collegamento wireless. Sempre sotto troviamo un pulsante per selezionare i dpi, un pulsante per selezionare il tipo di connessione fra i tre disponibili (2 canali bluetooth ed 1 canale wireless), 3 led che indicano il canale selezionato ed un selettore per accenderla o spegnerla, la porta usb tipo C si trova davanti in basso, il cavo non intralcia nell’utilizzo. Nella parte superiore troviamo la palla al centro, la rotella il pulsante sinistro ed i pulsanti avanti/indietro sul lato sinistro ed il pulsante destro nel lato destro. Data la disposizione il pollice deve comandare il tasto sinistro, i tasti avanti/indietro e la rotellina, tutti questi comandi per il solo pollice non li trovo naturali e mi blocco molto spesso, sicuramente bisogna abituarsi ma preferisco la palla a sinistra ed il resto dei comandi dorsali. Ovviamente non potevo sapere che questa configurazione mi avrebbe messo in difficoltà e certamente non ne faccio una colpa alla trackball. Il pulsante sinistro e destro sono di dimensioni generose, i tasti indietro/avanti sono di dimensioni generose, il terzo pulsante è la pressione della rotellina. Il pulsante dei pdi in questo caso è sotto e poco adatto per cambi al volo, di solito viene messo vicino alla rotella per agevolare il cambio. La forma della trackball obbliga l’uso della mano destra, non è adatta per l’uso con la mano sinistra. Per la lettura della palla credo venga utilizzato un diodo all’infrarosso perché non si vede nulla di acceso ad occhio nudo. La palla si sfila per pulire il sensore quando inizierà a non funzionare bene, sotto è presente un foro per premere la palla fuori dalla sede, a quel punto il sensore è a vista. Consiglio di trattare bene la palla perché il sistema di lettura traccia la sua superfice, eviterei anelli o altri oggetti nell’utilizzo della trackball. Come scritto, è possibile associare la trackball a tre differenti dispositivi, due dispositivi tramite il bluetooth ed uno tramite la chiavetta wireless fornita, non è possibile comandare tre dispositivi contemporaneamente, solo uno alla volta, si seleziona il dispositivo con il pulsante sotto la base. Nel complesso la trackball funziona benissimo, assegno 5 stelle.

Pour ceux qui aiment travailler avec un trackball, il est parfait (PRESQUE). Le seul inconvénient que je trouve est : Pourquoi mettre le bouton ON/Off sous le trackball ??? Cela oblige à retourner à chaque fois le trackball pour notamment l'arrêter avec un curseur qui se déplace à l'écran parce qu'on retient la boule et le risque d'appuyer sur le bouton de gauche ou droite en même temps. Merci les constructeurs de réfléchir à cela ! Sinon il est vraiment top.

Just received it and unboxed and tried it out. First impression is that the design is exactly what I am looking for and how it feels while being used. The texture is pleasing (although I have doubts that this matt texture can survive more than a year’s use of daily 5 hour use) and the positions of the trackball and buttons are placed where I want them. Both left and right click buttons click downwards and not inwards which is a positive thing for me. The DPI switch which easily allows me to determine the speed of the arrow travel each time I touch the ball is a godsend compared to other trackballs. This trackball has a rechargeable internal battery - which I hope will last a long time. Always found that rechargeable devices often die due to the battery. It comes with a 2.4Ghz dongle or useable with Bluetooth connection. I have not tried using the rechargeable cable as a direct wired connection to the computer yet but I do not think a wired mode is an option. Will update on this later. Overall on initial impressions and use, this trackball is better than I had hoped and as a trackball user (Microsoft, Logitech, Elecom, etc.) this has so much promise. I will update again in a few months. If my impression is sustained through use in the months ahead, I plan to buy a few for my family and myself at home and office.
