Solid as a rock, used to secure a body kit to my car, but be prepared,its a bit fiddly to get off and remove both sides of the backing, because its so sticky! The body kit is going no where

I've been using this tape for various things for years, VHB stands for Very High Bond - and they aren't exaggerating. Don't put it on something you expect to remove any time soon. So long as you clean the surfaces you want to stick well, no dust or grease left, and support the item if it's relatively heavy - typically you only have to support things for 2-3 days; once it's on -it's on. I've used it to tidy up a desk by sticking all the ugly power bricks to the underside, attach small clear hooks for Christmas lights to PVC trim, and numerous other things over the years. I used to jokie I only needed two tools - duct tape and WD40, I was wrong. I need 3 tools, duct tape, VHB tape, and WD40. I'll repeat my warning, don't use this if you want to remove things later. Also, if you stick to plaster, it will almost certainly remove a chunk if you try to remove the item later. This is the tape for when you need something to stay EXACTLY where you put it until the end of time.

Not as sticky as believed 3m tape should be. Purchased to stick numberplate on but it didn't hold

I bought this to help stick a rear diffuser to my car. It attaches with self tapping screws, but doesn’t quite keep it in place. This tape works to try and keep it nice a tight against the existing trim, but vibration and damp see to stop it sticking. I certainly don’t think I could jet wash it. At least it’s not too expensive, but I think I need sealant or something similar.

With high expectations, I tried to mount my whiteboard to the wall, fully trusting the “heavy-duty” label. The idea of no nails and no mess sounded perfect. Packaging The tape came in pretty standard packaging—nothing particularly notable. It’s a roll of tape in a small plastic wrapper, which is fine for what it is. The branding certainly makes it look reliable, and I did appreciate the convenience of it being ready to use straight away. Product Quality Unfortunately, this is where the disappointment sets in. Despite being advertised as “heavy-duty”, this tape couldn’t even hold up a simple whiteboard. Within a few hours, the whiteboard came crashing down. I couldn’t believe it, especially after seeing so many reviews raving about how strong this tape supposedly is. After that failure, I gave it another go with something lighter—a small wall clock. I thought surely this could handle a tiny clock, but nope, the clock fell off just as quickly. My old velcro strips did a better job than this so-called “mounting” tape. To make matters worse, I was hoping the tape’s no-nail approach would make it ideal for a renter like me, but it turns out this product is about as useful as putting chewing gum on the wall. Ease of Use On the bright side, the tape is easy to use—you cut it, peel it, and stick it on. But what’s the point of ease when the product doesn’t do what it’s supposed to? The “heavy-duty” label feels like false advertising when even light objects can’t stay up for long. The waterproof and heat-resistant claims didn’t come into play here, because it failed the most basic test of holding things in place. Verdict Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this tape to anyone looking for a reliable, heavy-duty adhesive solution. Despite the waterproof and heat-resistant claims, it simply doesn’t deliver when it comes to strength. If you need something to hold up more than a piece of paper, steer clear of this tape. For now, my velcro strips are doing a far better job!

Seem very strong and keeping dash cam on the glass no problem

Used to replace the tapes on an Alexa mount. Stuck the mount to the side of the kitchen unit no problem. Been on now for a good month so definitely would recommend this.
