Adventure and intrigue abound as the Doctor sets off on another journey through space and time. Joined by his lively companion Bill, the Doctor will come face to face with one of his oldest foes resulting in a chain of events that threaten himself and everyone around him. Review: It's Who, so it' has to be good! - And YES, we have a bonus. Now if only the Christmas episode is included, which I doubt, it would be perfect, but even without it is not a bad deal. IV/18/2017 Update IV/16/2017: "The pilot" appeared today at 3:06 a.m. Caracas time, WAY before SYFY on Directv (later tonight). With the captions in place! Way to go desertcart! Will see about the extras, and the rest of the season. Pretty good reboot, would much prefer a straight companion, even if this one works well to exclude any romance at this stage in the Doctor's life. Nardole is a cyborg. And will have TWO master's. NO SPOILERS. So what are you waiting for, buy it, watch and decide for yourself. Even when Doctor Who is bad it is still very good and the fans will see it. After all except for 'the Return of Doctor Mysterio' we have been more than a year without the Doctor. Now the main points are: It will be released by desertcart after it premieres in the UK, and BBC America (IV-15-2017). How long after? No one knows, probably a bit less than 24 hours, perhaps a bit more than that. (At this date is a fair bet that even desertcart doesn't know) The Close captions will appear, a bit after the release. So be patient, I bought "The Return of Doctor Mysterio" this Christmas 2016, and (I am in Caracas) I watched it first on Directv. It appeared finally and it was very, very good, the captions Also appeared in good time. Also I got a few extras, they were very nice and not announced, like how was it made and extra short programs broadcasted in the UK. Will they give us any extras? I hope so. Will it include the Christmas Special 2017? I hope so but I doubt it. It will be at the very least 12 episodes of the series, that is by the way the last of Peter Capaldi. New companion, also Nardole appears again, The "Mistress" (Missy) , the Daleks, watch the free trailer. What is not to like? Yes, another review made just on faith, and love for the Program. It is worth the money, to me YES, I like to rewatch it. How are things in Caracas, the birthplace of the 21th century Socialism? Internet comes and goes, I had 5 days without, people are eating garbage, and the government is stealing anything they want, a few days ago they took several bakeries. Yes, that has nothing to do with Who, but please count your blessings, living in what is the greatest Country in the World! So enjoy the new series Peter Review: Good End To Peter Capaldi's Tenure As The Doctor. - I really enjoyed Peter Capaldi's tenure as The Doctor, and the 10th series was good and fun to watch with excellent moments of plot twists which I will not spoil in here. Peter Capaldi's Doctor is different then the new "modern" Doctors. He was the grumpy Doctor of William Hartnell's first Doctor with the mix of the all the modern Doctors. I also really enjoyed Michelle Gomez as Missy, and as quote Christopher Eccleston's Doctor. "Michelle Gomez was fantastic!" This is one one the best parts of the 10th series is the interaction of Peter Capaldi's Doctor and Michelle Gomez's Missy. The acting was well done between the 2 of them. Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts did very well as The Doctor's companion. I really like her interaction with Matt Lucas's Nardole. I am also glad they brought back Matt Lucas's Nardole in this series. I thought he was charming in the Christmas special The Husbands of River Song. In general Doctor Who 10th series was well acted and well written and a good end for Peter Capaldi's Doctor. One thing I wished this set also had was the the other Christmas special "Twice Upon A Time" which would complete this set instead of buying it on a separate Blu Ray. I was also glad to get this 10th series on sale at a great price. Other retailers had this series at around $60 - $80 price range and when I saw it on sale on desertcart I could not pass the chance on missing a great sale. I also got it shipped intact and with out any damage. (Pictures provided.)

I've waited until now to review this season because I adore Doctor Who, but I wasn't entirely sure about Capaldi. The first of his seasons was pretty rocky, the second better (I loved, loved, loved Clara's send-off episode), and now we're really rebooting with a new pair of companions. So how's that working out? BRILLIANTLY, that's how. I'm a sucker for season-long arcs, even if I may have been later than most to realize who has to be inside that vault. The strength of a season with an arc still largely depends on the individual episodes being good. So far, none of them have been disappointing, though some stand out: The Pilot (I see what you did there, beeb) convinced me that this companion and setting were going to work; Thin Ice and Knock Knock could have been written for the Fourth Doctor; Smile was disarming and unexpected; and the solution to Oxygen was frankly brilliant. Extremis was... I already used "unexpected," leaving me searching for the right words. It did a great job of misleading me, at least -- I was balking at the idea that learning one isn't "real" would lead to everyone choosing not to exist, but then, we learned what the aim of the simulation really was. I did not expect to see the monks from Extremis again for at least a few episodes. I wasn't thrilled to see them back so soon; I wasn't hapy with Bill's choice (If I can think of a way around a dilemma, I expect the Doctor's companions to be able to see it too!). But for the first time in three seasons, I've just watched a "to be continued" episode and I'm cussing at my television wanting to see WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. Which is... exactly as it should be. Welcome home, Peter Capaldi. You ARE the Doctor. And hiya, Bill Potts! You bring something I still can't identify, you're not like the other companions... and it's awesome. Even if you make mistakes sometimes. The Doctor is in: next stop, everywhere!

Show "Doctor Who: The Fan Show."
