304 Brushed Stainless Steel Finishing Sheet Metal Gap Filler Trim Strip Metal Trim for Home Kitchen Tools (Silver,1 x 30 Inch)

I bought a new range hood and the new hood is shorter than the old range hood. This left a gap between the tile and the bottom of my new range hood. I attached this stainless steel trim strip to the new hood to close the gap at the top of the backsplash. It worked out great. Note: this metal is much thicker than the range hood metal so it was more difficult to drill mounting holes in it. Make sure you have drill bits meant for drilling metal if you do this and have some patience. It will take some time to drill through this quality stainless steel trim. I'm happy with how it turned out.. now I have to touch up the cabinet paint.

We have a 1" gap below our granite countertop and above our dishwasher. A contractor placed a piece of thin wood there, but it would always come unglued. Recently, it broke in three pieces. Well I stumbled on this 1" piece of stainless steel, and it fills the gap perfectly and looks really polished and finished. Who even knew this existed???

It served its purpose and looked good too.

I was asked to make a nameplate for one of our tools at work. I originally was looking at aluminum until I found this. It needed to be 15" x 4", and I needed 2, so the 30" size was perfect. The surface finish of the protected finish is nice. It came wrapped in plastic then bubble wrap, with the blue protective sheet on the more polished surface. The other side had a few scratches, but it was not going to be seen, so I was not worried about that side so much. I bought 2 strips, one for practice and one for finished product. The polished side is scratch resistant against softer materials, but it can be scratched easily against sharper things. I have a 20 watt fiber laser that was able to cut it with some effort. Engraving on it, however, turned out better than expected. I have tried stainless on other stainless steel samples, and they did not turn out nearly as good as this. The thickness helps keep it straight. You can bend it with some effort, but if it's under normal use, it should be find. When engraving, it would warp slightly when running longer passes or higher settings. This was going to be drilled and hung up, so a little flex wasn't going to hurt. I attempted to turn the setting higher and run it slower to test the limit. I could see the lettering on the back side. If you are planning to use it for laser engraving, be aware of this. Value for the money depends on use. Personally, I think it is a good value for what I was using it for. Everyone at worked liked how it turned out, and the 2 pieces have been put in place. I am definitely please. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would buy again.

I had a large gap behind my stove, so I drilled 3 small L supports on each side of cabinets and one in the middle of wall to support the weigh. Simply laid this flat over them. Strong enough to stay straight over 3 supports but slightly wobbly if you put pressure on it while wiping. Good enough!

This item is good for the purpose of covering a gap between a built-in stainless steel appliance and cabinet. It's a sturdy thickness that makes it rigid. I found it was best cut to length with Dremel tool with a diamond cutoff disc, using a metal straight edge and clamping the strip to a board. The material is pretty hard so use a good metal cutting drill bit and a drill press with firm pressure to make mounting holes.

Versatile SS strip effectively filled gap between stove backsplash and new range good. Blended right in and even looks intentional. Size was perfect for my purposes.

Great fill in for around oven. After getting new oven I had a space above oven. This was a great fill in space. The stainless matches really great! I got some double stock tape and it was so easy to install.

Item was scratched all over and unusable

I needed something to block the right side of my rear stove vent as the oven exhaust vent would go across my stove top burners making the right two burners not useable while oven was on or off and cooling down. I tried to drill a small hole into this strip to attach it to the stainless steel vent cover along the back of my range. I couldn’t even cause a divot in this stainless steel after 10 minutes of trying. So I used a punch and hammer to force and created an hole and then used the drill to enlarge the hole. However using the punch severely bent this piece but I was later about to bend it back to a fairly straight piece again. Cutting this small piece with a hacksaw with a new fine metal blade was quite labour intensive also. Now the exhaust air goes straight upwards instead of across by burner flames. It is great ( and just the size I was looking for) for what I needed it for though.
