Bulletproof® Upgraded Brain Octane Oil (16oz)

This stuff is magic. I rarely notice a large step up in cognitive performance when taking supplements, but the Octane Oil genuinely makes a powerful difference. I used it primarily around exam time at university, cooking with it and putting it in my Bulletproof Coffee. The amount in the bottle seems fairly small at first but it does last long if you use it smartly. Great as a cooking oil, as no harmful aldehydes or oxidised products form when this is heated.

So I think the review about migraines should be ignored! I suffer from chronic migraines. They have been worsening and at one point became daily. I am bringing them under control in part by the bulletproof diet and bulletproof coffee. I usually would buy the XCT but wanted to try this. I do use a regular single source arabica coffee grown at a high altitude but I like bulletproof MCT. I find the octane is very good, I don't need as much and so it doesn't cause any gastric reaction. 49 times out of 50 bulletproof coffee made with XCT or octane will kick my headache, and often I begin the day with a headache and it's the only thing that will get me out of bed (thanks darling husband) so do try it if you have not already. One thing, the bottle is terrible. Pouring I mean. Yes I'm slightly ashamed to say that every morning I've used it I've actually licked the bottle as its dribbled down the side. It's worse than the XCT bottle. It needs one of those pouring spouty rubbery things my Advocado oil has. It's probably wasteful enough to get me to buy XCT next time. I am on a budget. Other than that it can't be faulted. Certainly...It's very good and worth a try to get you started on bulletproof coffee. Once you are used to oil in the morning maybe you can go over to XCT.

I will be very realistic right now. I actually buy this product for the brain concentration and being more productive at work. I mix it with lemon juice every morning (one spoon). I am an entrepreneur, I like the product in a way of faster metabolism and while I work I stay focused without even feel any hungry during all day. I like it because it has no taste no colour and no smell and it mix well with other food and drinks. On a weight I didn't notice any difference but I didn't even expect that. I really don't like the packing I spill the drops of oil every time when I use it. I know, you will say why You don't pour it in your own another more practical packaging, but that is not the point. Things must be useful in all ways, besides the product is good and quite effective but If your packaging cover will not changed, I will probably not buy the product anymore. The price of product is little overrated. So I would be happy if you guys recomend me some alternative of this product, but I still have a hope that the packaging will improve because as I read many of you have the same problem.

I like it as it has no taste or odour at all so I can every morning drink one teaspoon. I noticed a clearer mind. The viscosity is low so care needed to not spill it. I hope I long term I'm gonna see improvement of my memory and focus. For the moment my memory is still the same However my mind and thoughts are more orderly and calmer.

After buying and reading the bulletproof diet book I now have a bulletproof coffee every morning without fail. Bullet proof coffee is made from specially prepared mould toxin free coffee, organic grass fed butter and the "brain octain". It does exactly what founder Dave Asprey says, I feel tremendous after drinking, full of energy, mental clarity and focus. Since adding the bulletproof coffee to my bullet proof diet I no longer suffer from those never ending food cravings! The funny thing is I never liked coffee prior to trying this but I thought I would give it a go as the benifits sounded well worth it. I can honestly say it's the best dietry decision I've ever made. I don't normally leave reviews but everyone needs to try this, even if you don't like coffee. Without any food cravings, the results for me personally really is life changing!!!!!

Made me really sick

Not impressed with this at all! I think it's all hype. I've been using organic coconut oil for over 2 years in my Bullet proof coffee and enjoyed the taste and feeling after. I thought I'd give this product a try and felt no better using it. Won't be buying again, I think it's better to just use a good quality organic coconut oil. Dave Asprey has done well in marketing this MCT oil but I feel it's not worth spending your money on it.

Just received and tried it in coffee and on porridge. It has no flavour so does not spoil coffee or food. I have decanted into a bottle that pours well, it is too good to waste! Good speedy delivery too.

Komisch, ist es ein Placebo? Ich trinke Bulletproof Kaffee und plötzlich glaube ich, dass mein Gehirn wirklich besser arbeitet. Also: Kaffee machen, einen Esslöffel Öl rein, einen Esslöffel Butter (grasgefüttert/bio). Schmeckt erstaunlich lecker! (Allerdings mit Mixer verrühren). Und man denkt nicht ans Essen, kann super arbeiten. Irgendwie hatte dieser David Asprey Recht (kann man googlen). Mit Kokosöl klappt es aber auch. Es kann sein, dass ich mir den extra guten Effekt bei diesem Öl "einbilde" oder es eine Placebo-Wirkung hat. Es zeigt allerdings auf jeden Fall Wirkung!

Está bien. No sabe a nada. La cetosis se dispara con su uso y aporta energia pero no hace milagros. Es un plus a un plan muy estricto de alimentación.
