A lovely ligature
A quality ligature which produces a lovely sound and a pleasure to use. Well packaged and ideal for storing it in. Would happily buy again.

An excellent ligature
I'm using this leather ligature with the Vandoren Black Diamond BD5 mouthpiece on a Buffet E13 and the sound is superb. The ligature holds the reed securely and comes with different inserts to allow tailoring of the sound. The ligature surpasses my Rovner Versa and is very easy to fit. Excellent product.

This arrived in great condition. All packaging correct and no doubt that it was new as advertised. The item itself is good but not as great as all the hype. I can hear the difference between the inserts. So it does make a difference. As for playability, i am struggling with how tight or loose to have it. It feels like I am overtightening it while winding it tighter but then when I go to play, the read moves side to side and it really loose. So I am still figuring it out. It is the right size for my mouthpuece etc, it may just be that I am taking longer to adapt having never used anything but the standard metal lig that came with the instrument or a leather bootlace. It takes longer to wind a bootlace on and keep the reed in place without damaging it but I actually think I prefer it to this. That surprises me! Maybe I just got used to my 'poor persons' ligature?! Lol

Not good with synthetic reeds
I found when using a synthetic reed it wouldn't hold it firm and reed moved. Normal reeds were fine.
