I've been ordering these extensions for more than a year now. Prior to that, I was ordering prestigious brand extensions for 10+ years that were more than $1K per install. After my hairdresser friend told me about Ylite I decided to give them a try. I am SO glad I did. Ylite extensions are just as nice as the fancy $1K brandnames. I will always use Ylite. A full install for under $300!!!! I just hope they don't run out of hair...? The extensions work nicely for caucasian blonde hair - not too thick. They stay soft and silky for a few weeks and minimal shedding - so you can even re-use them a few times. But you might want to do a keratin treatment at some point. Also, the adhesive works very well. Be sure to press the "sandwiches" before you wash your hair every time to eliminate slipping.

Alright yall,(Here’s a long review of the hair over a week )So , the hair is absolutely amazing.For reference, I had these professionally installed. She used 3.5 packs of the hair. I bought 4. This is 18 inch. My actual hair is shoulder length. However, my front pieces are shorter than everywhere else. I’m 5’6 and the tape in hair is about bra strap length for me.The first picture is day 2 of them being in. The second is about 5 days and the third picture is today on day 7.No tangling. No shedding , and it’s still light weight hairI use dry shampoo to help absorb some of the excess moisture. (Found that on tik tok lol)I wrap it in a knit cap from the hair store and then put a durag on over the knit cap at night. ( the fan be blowing bc I’d be too hot if it wasn’t with all that on my head lol)I sweat alot , my job requires me to be on the move. So far, it’s maintained its straightness until today. The hair is doing a body wave thing but I like it so no complaints.Overall 10/10. If I remember a month from now I’ll update.3 week *Okay,The hair still has no tangling or shedding. It does actually hold a curl really well. Even after the gym they are still great quality. The products I use for upkeep are Paul Mitchel heat protectant (clear bottle , like 9 dollars at ulta for a small one. )The WOW silver bottle I’ve used maybe twice - not sure if I like it or I’m using it incorrectly )Other than that,I wrap my hair at night with the knit cap and the put a durag over it. The hair itself is decent however the tape doesn't stick. I placed the hair extensions on Sunday. I used the pliers from another brand to set them, I waited 48 hours to wash my hair, I even used the pliers prior to getting my hair wet because I noticed a few in the front were separating. As soon as the shampoo was in my hair the extensions started sliding out. By the time my shower was done they had all come out. I dried the extensions with a towel and went to remove the adhesive to place the replacement adhesive that was included and more than half had little residue on them. The shampoo I used is very mild so I am surprised it was able to melt away extensions tape. I tried a few pieces with the replacement tape and by the end of the night they were separating again. Don't waste your money unless you have replacement tape you know works well. And as a side note, I used no product in my hair before placing them. My hair was shampooed, air dried fully and then I placed the extensions. Day 2 I sprayed leave in conditioner on my hair but it wouldn't have even penetrated down to where the extensions were. I just misted the outer hair

These extensions were perfect! Great quality, they feel very good and look super natural. I love them!

Haven’t installed yet. Hair quality seems very good, with thick ends for 26inches. Took a star off because they are advertised as skin wefts, but they are not. The regular, very visible, shiny tabs are what you receive. Skin wefts are where there is hair adhered all the way to the top, making them nearly invisible in your hair. These shiny tabs will be very visible. May not have purchased had that been accurately disclosed. Will update review once installed, & worn!

pretty, soft, but tangles so badly. The color match is amazing, but they've been in 5 weeks and I'm gentle with them. They just tangle so badly. the length is exactly as advertised, the initial tapes were not sticky enough so i removed them and replaced them with big kizzy double sided tapes and that helped with hold. The durability is just not there, even with oiling, deep conditioning masks and protective styling they feel like straw. I was really looking forward to this brand since they've been viral on my social media feed.

So so worth it. I was on the fence and I'm so glad I pulled the trigger! My hair always stops growing at this length it was at and I've dreamed of long long hair for 10 plus years.I was able to do my whole head with only 2 packs, BUT it was because I have a big undercut so a lot less layers in the back of my head. AND my natural hair was already well my shoulder so blending was very easy and I didn't need to add much volume to the top of my head at all.The length I got was 26in and in the natural black color which color matched my natural hair perfectly. My husband was an angel and installed the back section and I did the sides. It was our first time doing it and after a couple layers you get the hang of it but I reccomend watching lots of YouTube videos and doing lots of research before doing it yourself.I feel so confident and feel so much more like myself with this hair and i can't reccomend it enough.
