Gets the job done
Not bad! Easy to set up, and fairly sturdy when on the road. I got up to 60 with an 8 foot foam board before I was sketched out. I also tightened it too much and it left an indentation in my board. Not a big deal. I have a nice car and it left no marks on the paint 🤙🤙

Fantastic quality and built to last
I’m writing this review a bit over 3.5 years since I purchased the straps, and they still function perfectly like they did out of the box. They are easy to use, and they hold my boards securely even going at normal highway speeds. I’ve never been worried about anything coming loose. I also use them for anything I need to strap onto my car, like the Christmas tree I just bought. It’s perfect for that as well. Pro tip: put a twist into the straps and they won’t vibrate and make weird noises when you’re going fast

Great product for slow speeds. This product is not good for highway or high speed driving
For what it is, this is a great product for none freeway driving. If you go more than 50MPH with these you will be in trouble. Depending on your board length and board bag, you may ding your board or lose it. I will be getting rid of mine because this is not suitable for high speed driving. It's loud and sketchy.

Yo!!! Bros!!
I liked it. Made some mistakes but thats user error not product. Pros: The clamp strong, the straps are long, and its universal. Lightweight soft blocks and nice material, will not scratch. I like that it can fit my 3 board quiver no problem. Cons: If you don't twist the straps it will make a crazy vibrating and buzzing noise and it will loosen up a bit. (Learned it the hard way) Also for soft top boards,,, have a buffer between the rails and the straps. When I sinched it down my rails bend in the shape of the straps. Again learned the hard way

Great solution for traveling and then renting a car
Bought this explicitly for one trip....two weeks in Portugal to simply get the gear out of the car and onto the roof during our city to city transitions. Here are the details: 1. We were in a Mercedes C Class wagon 2. The gear was 6'9" long board bag that weighed in at 50lbs 3. We drove 1253 miles with the this setup 4. Highway speeds were sustained 80-90 mph A few things to note 1. Definitely twist the straps to get rid of the flutter. 2. Be careful with heavier gear. With the pads the weight isn't spread across the surface but isolated to the two pads. You could see the roof deflecting at times. Could I have easily just strapped the board bag to the roof with straps? Probably. Did the rental car company look favorably seeing the pads? Definitely. 3. The rubber covered strap ends are a huge plus. A must have. 4. Strapping it in the car is very quick and you simply wrap the extra around it. No problem. 5. The C Class has full frame windows on the doors. I like this better and not sure if I'd use this with a car that doesn't (i.e. a car where the windows close to the car and not to the door.). Wouldn't love stressing the window directly. 6. We actually mounted the board bag backwards. Less aero but my bag had loop points on this end that I could weave the straps through to secure the board bag to the straps and not just have the straps over the bag. Would I use this on my own car? No, BUT we have two Teslas with glass roofs. Will I be bringing these with me on all future wingfoil trips where I rent a car so I don't have to rent a huge vehicle? 100%. Just put them in the top of your gear bag and toss them on when you pick up the car. Super easy.

Absolutely Great!!!
I love these traps. I use a 9 foot board and drive a Toyota Camry, and have to get my board to the beach somehow, and this works great for me. I felt comfortable going up to around 50 MPH before I started to back off because of the slight bouncing of the board and straps. It’s certainly not going anywhere if you strap it correctly, but it does bounce a little, like the video I posted shows. I feel very confident driving it around, however, and will play around with the best way to strap it to minimize this. I do use some painters rags so I don’t scratch my car, and so I can tighten the straps onto the board without leaving an indent in the board.

Doesn't fit Inflatable SUP
This is likely my mistake for not reading properly but these are for surfboards and are too thin from left to right to give stability to inflatable sup boards. I have a 10ft and 12 ft and they bounce a lot as I drive with these so I wouldn't drive any faster than 25-30mph with them attached. They are very easy to setup and simple to use but depending on your roof length the front strap my interfere with the driver's head. I have a hatchback and they certainly do for me. They may work great for surfboards. They are well made and seem very durable but I bought them for the wrong use.

Tengo un coche chiquitito y una tabla de pádel gigante y ambos están en perfectas condiciones. Es muy práctico de poner y guardar.
