okay grinds the meds fine with 2-3 crush rounds. The one with coating are a challenge though as does not grind the shell well

This is not the choice for 1 who need fine particles

It is a good product for those who cannot use stone spice crusher. It is definitely made up of good quality plastic but at the end of the day it is plastic. It does crush the medicine well into the fine powder but there are some aspirin-based medicine which are hard to crush finely may be due to the stickyness of the medicine. I recommend using stone spice crusher instead as it isn't made of plastic

does the JOB

Every once in awhile a product comes along that outperforms all that it promises. I am totally blown away by this one. I need to make into powder Ayurvedic medicines on a daily basis. Some of my dogs’ medication also needs to be powdered to be mixed with honey. So far I have experimented with different types of pestle and mortars. The last set was a small one made of brass. It was heavy cause without the weight you can crush pills. This product is lightweight and super efficient. If you need to powder pills I can’t think of a better option. My heartfelt gratitude to the makers.
