are these thermostats compatible with all hotpoint tumble dryers.many thanks in advance

I think all hotpoint dryers use the same , if you have an instruction book it may tell you the 2 temps if they are the same has the first4spares then you will be sure.

I understand it matters which item you install in each position in the dryer. How do i know which is which? My factory fitted ones have a green dot 1.

Only one of mine had failed. As I remember there’s one for each element, just happened to be the green dot one that failed, so only had to replace that one. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I replaced the one shots 3 times but to be honest, I should have just bought a new tumble dryer. I have now.

What are the part numbers for these two components? I have a caravan heater which seems to use the same parts but I wanted to know the part numbers.

What can I say saved me again!!

Don’t buy a new alliance if there’s a fault

Best £4.99 spent this year as we were ready for buying a new tumble dryer, especially when callout charges are added up for repair. Got someone in the know to check and thermostat was gone. This came, was fitted in minutes and everything perfect. Hopefully another few years out of it

Fits my Hotpoint tumbledryer

My original kept tripping stopping the heater, meaning I would have to take the dryer apart (I eventually added an access hole and cover) each time to reset it. Since fitting the new ones I haven't had to do this so well worth replacing. Access was via the rear panel and then unscrewing the heater element box. Replace the two switches maintaining the correct wiring. Replace the one with the hole in it with the new one that has a hole in it (this is the resetable one).
