I modified mine by dividing the take-up reel into two sections to pull two cables while keeping them separated. I used it to raise and lower the work table on my 30 ton press.

This is a great product. Easy to install, worked great to bring the boat in and holds up well. Very impressed with the attached rope. Have a Seadoo 230 Wake that weighs around 3,000 dry and it held up great bringing it in wet and up a slope.

I used this to lower several loads of three 60lbs bags of concrete down a slope on a sled. I also hauled several 5 gallon buckets of dirt out of the same hole using this. This was geared in a way that my four year old was able to haul one of the buckets up. I also used this to lower a fridge down a slope. The winch had no problem with it. It had three settings, to crank it up, down and and then to free spin. The clicking caused by spinning was really loud. My only complaint was with mounting it. The holes are not placed well. I had to remove the coil, so I could put screws through all the holes.

I ORIGINALLY gave this 1 star because the box didn't show what I had ordered. After opening it up, it's exactly what I had wanted. Durable with the strap, not the steel cable.

Well made and durable. I bought this to replace a power winch, which had failed, on my 16’ fishing boat. This winch does the job and doesn’t break the budget! Highly recommended!
