I picked this up as a gift for my dad and it ended up being a really solid choice. It's as nice as any other titanium stuff I have but significantly less expensive. The titanium alloy gives it a nice sturdy feel while being extremely lightweight, and the quick release mechanism works smoothly and feels secure. He had asked for me to look for a magnetic one, but this was what I chose because it's much more secure (and basically just as fast). It can be unclipped with one hand and is super easy to use. It feels durable enough to handle daily use without looking worn out after a week in a pocket. The small size means you can easily slide it into a pocket as well. Overall I am really happy with this choice and it turned out to be one of those practical gifts that actually gets used every day.

Not sure what the other reviewer did to make it so hard to release/lock. It was simple enough for me to do--just like how all ball-bearing quick-release system should work. Dimensions are decent, although a bit too thick for my liking. My slight concern is the short stem. If you pull the two ends apart while holding on the slider, it doesn't take too much force before it releases itself given how short the stem is. Otherwise it felt very secure. The key-ring hole is smaller than I thought so might be limiting for some larger key-rings.

Too hard to open and way to hard to lock. Takes a lot of fiddling around so not quick release. Also very small. Hard to get fingers where they need to go to unlock or lock…. even with my tiny hands. Do not recommend.

A decent detachable key ring that I needed to help keep my pile of keys organized ( car & bike keys from house and so on ), it definitely makes a difference in my world and it being of strong titanium there shouldn't be a problem with the keys breaking free unless I want them too. The rings that come with were a little to small for my needs so I just put larger ones on no biggie. Not much more you can say about a key chain other then it will do its job and I'm a bit more in order instead of digging around with one big pile of keys.
