Looking at the pictures - it seems these mirror "sit" quite close to the car mirror and quite flush with it, but they do not. The adjustable base causes these mirrors to protrude about a cm or so off from the car mirror surface, which both causes some waste of mirror space, because in your car mirror you will see a few millimeters of the reflection of the backside of these little mirrors - more or less, depending on the angle you view the mirrors from, so that reflection of the backside of the panoramic mirrors comes at the expense of actually seeing things that you would need to see coming into view, and that gap also opens up (pun intended) a chance for those little mirrors getting knocked out by things like high pressure car wash water jets or those carwash rotating brushes - although mine survived one first such wash over the weekend without an issue. Other than that - these mirrors fit quite nicely on the lower outside corners of the side mirrors on my 2021 Ford Expedition, and do provide very good visibility for vehicles coming in behind me which I would otherwise either really need to turn my head around to see, or worst yet - not see at all and not have the car's blind spot sensors detect on time either, so for that - I'm really happy with these mirrors. Just wanted to add one more thing - there's a lot of "debate" on where to position or attach such panoramic mirrors on your car's mirror - top? bottom? inside corner or outside corner? I think that you should mount these mirrors where you would otherwise "naturally" look at your "original" car mirrors for such hazards, so because you're using these mirrors to allow you to see vehicle coming farther away from you than the built in mirrors might show, you should mount these panoramic mirrors on the outside of the car mirrors, and because (especially in a taller vehicle like the Expedition) that also means that you have less "natural" visibility of lower hazards compared to your eye level - these mirrors should be mounted at the bottom of your original car mirrors, for optimal coverage and mostly because that's where you would naturally look to see such hazards coming up behind you, so to sum it up - I would recommend mounting these panoramic mirrors on the bottom most outside corner of each one of your car's mirrors. That's where your eyes will naturally look to in such situations, which is why that's where these mirrors should be mounted for you to easily and intuitively glance at as you intend to change lanes, for example.

I like the style, seems to work ok on my 2011 Honda. Dose stick out a little bit but not too bad.

When mounted it’s protruding too far from the mirror itself. also the adhesive tape on the back of the mirror which stays behind is clearly visible in the reflection of the actual mirror and looks very cheap. Seller please help!!!
