STURDY WELL ENGINEERED HIGH QUALITY AND AESTHETICALLY PLEASING QUEEN SIZE BED FRAME
I was anxious about ordering this bed frame. However, now I'm completely impressed by it and I'm very happy with this purchase. It arrived in a large well protected and put together box. The parts were all thoughtfully arranged for a customer to layout and begin assembly. It took me longer to put this bed frame together than other reviewers have taken. I don't have an electric screwdriver and if I had this would have helped me save a considerable amount of time. I put this frame together by myself. It would be helpful to have another person assist in aligning the larger parts when securing them with the supplied bolts. The instructions manual is brief, but was diagramed logically and was very handy to have by my side while taking my time in assembling the bed frame. This bed frame is very sturdy and is absolutely quiet. My prior bed frame was an Ikea product that was also sturdy but was noisy and extremely heavy and even 2-persons couldn't move that frame. That frame was bought 28 years ago when Ikea made real sturdy products, however the weight was too much and it was always squeaking with every movement, not so with this bed frame. When fully assembled this bed is fairly heavy but only just enough so that the weight helps with the sturdiness of the bed frame. Whoever designed this bed frame ought to be commended for their work because it's one of the most well thought ought products I've ever put together. The slats are secured with a few bolts and there's velcro strips that aid in securing the wooden slats to the support beams which greatly helps in making this bed frame dead quiet. It appears that the manufacturer recommends using a mattress that is between 8" and 12" in thickness, however I am using a new 14" mattress I bought from Costco, the excellent "Novaform 14" ComfortGrande Advanced Gel Memory Foam Mattress" which is a medium plush and cooling mattress and is the best mattress I've ever slept on in my 67 years of sleeping on my left side. My girlfriend has said it's also very comfortable and we both are sleeping longer with uninterrupted sleep with this mattress and bed frame combination. The 14" mattress fits this bed frame just fine and in fact you could even use up to a 16" mattress because this bed frame has an adjustable headboard. I have it adjusted so that it's at the highest position and there's still 2" of a gap between the bottom of the headboard and the top of my mattress. I like that gap because it helps with air flow that further helps in keeping me cool while sleeping. This bed frame is much higher in quality than the price would have you believe. It's one of the best items I've ever purchased on Amazon, especially in recent years, because there's some real quality concerns with products sold on Amazon with the onslaught of 3rd party Sellers. This bed frame is the exception, as it's surprisingly well engineered and of the highest quality and very pleasing aesthetically to my eyes and those of everyone else that's seen it. I've noticed there's other Sellers on Amazon with the same bed frame or one that's practically identical to this one. I highly recommend that you use the Seller I have used because I can vouch that you'll get the same product I'm reviewing here. I can't say whether or not the other Sellers are offering the same bed frame or a copy. Also, I've seen this frame and another that's very similar that have an LED light bar above the headboard or under the bed frame. I almost got one of those and I'm glad I didn't. The headboard LED light bar would be to bright, and the LED lights under the frame is the way to go IMO. Instead of paying a lot more for that feature, I bought a 23' LED light strip from another buyer here on Amazon for less than $10 dollars and easily attached it under this bed frame. Finally, the supplied Allen wrench is made of low quality pot metal or low strength aluminum and it will strip while tightening the bolts for this bed frame. I had saved an identical Allen wrench from Ikea and it also stripped on the outside edges of these tools. Buy or borrow an Allen wrench made of steel and that measures 3/16" of an inch and better yet use an electric tool with a 3/16" Allen screw attachment and you'll be able to assemble this frame in 2-hours or less, compared to the 4-hours it took me as I was being very methodical and took my time. I have a lot of mechanical experience and it still took me longer than I thought it would but again that's on me for not using an electric/battery operated screwdriver. You can't go wrong with this excellent queen size bed frame. It's a low profile bed frame and it can be moved easily once it's assembled because the 4 feet on the frames corners act as sliders on carpeted bedroom floors. With my 14" mattress the total height of the mattress in relation to the floor is a height of 19". It's a comfortable height for me to sit-down on and lay down on. If you're thinking about purchasing this bed frame you have nothing to worry about. I will upload a few photos soon, or eventually when I get around to it. This bed frame will more than satisfy you for all your sleeping and, ahem, your romantic needs :)

Love this bed frame! The modern design looks great, the adjustable headboard is comfortable, and assembly was simple. Sturdy and no box spring needed — very happy with it!

Perfection
My room is a converted attic space with sloped walls/ceiling. I needed a low profile bed to fit the space and this bed is perfect. Its low to the ground. Very sturdy. Very comfortable. Very stylish.

Lovely finish, assembly seriously sucks
Just finished putting it together and have been resting in it since then. I've got a few good things to say about it and a few less good things. It's very nice to sit up in and lay down on and I was pleasantly surprised to find my mattress slid in and fit perfectly so in terms of comfort I'd say it exceeded my expectations. In terms of appearance it's modest but still nice. I really like the look of the frame and is true to size in the image. It's definitely low to the ground but you don't feel like you're laying on the floor which is also nice. However I ran into the same problem alot of people did. Some parts, ESPECIALLY the hinges, did not align with the frame whatsoever. I had to push and pull with all my might to get some of it to even slightly meet and somehow miraculously managed to slowly anchor them in there without stripping any screws or threads after screwing in at what felt like a nearly 90 degree angle sometimes. That was a little bit ridiculous, bordering on infuriating at times. Not to mention some parts weren't even labeled. I realized after a while that it was because some of the parts were the same thing which I don't mind, but if you're going to label your left and right sides of the frame like they're separate items I'd expect the other parts to be treated the same. Also the boards on the inside aren't screwed in or anything, they are literally flimsy strips of velcro on either side with nothing else but a metal beam with legs down the middle for support. Maybe I'm overthinking that one but I don't like the idea of the only method of adhering the planks to the frame being two strips of velcro. It makes me seriously doubt the bold claim that this thing can support 1000 lbs of weight. All in all, it's a very good bed frame for it's price, you get what you pay for at the end of the day and I can accept that. If you're looking for something super sturdy, I'd probably suggest looking elsewhere but if you're not worried about that and you're on a tight budget like me, this is a pretty good setup as long as you're okay with brute forcing some pieces together. It's very cozy and I would overall recommend it.

just buy it
I read the reviews and I was reticent to buy it. Just buy it. Yes, it's low - but if you didn't notice that from the pictures....that's on you. It's no harder to setup than a TV stand. Some parts were hidden inside things and made me think they were missing at first, but they're there. One foot pad was stuffed inside the recessed area of one of the side cushions. The headboard also has a velcro cover (like the lower back part of a recliner) and there's stuff hidden in there too (for ease and efficiency of shipping). Nothing was torn or broken or scuffed. It feels sturdy and I'm a fat short guy (5'6" - 240lbs) My gf also likes it (shes 5'5" and 130lbs) Its a great bframe for the price. I've had it for a couple months now.
