Good 4” fan ideal for a bathroom, easy to install and reasonably quiet😄

Extractor fan with timed overrun
Well packed and as described in the site. All worked well.

Good fan with decent amount of extraction but annoyingly there is an adhesive plastic strip which runs up the side of the extractor outlet on which the fan blades catch making a racket - I shaved off some of the thickness of the strip until the fan blades rotate freely. What is the function of the strip and why is something like this not picked up in quality control?

Replacement fan.
It was so easy to install , it took me 15 minutes to replace it ,due to the existing fan was broken. Vent axia is a quality model.

good for two years
This is my fourth or fifth one of these , they burn out after a couple of years .A small brown burn mark appears on the white surface over the connections, this is a tell tale sign that it will eventually fail.
