Windproof Torch Lighter Single Jet Flame Fuel Refillable Tank Visible(No Gas) (5 Color)

Hands down one of the best options. I've bought dozens of torches trying to find ones without the annoying click so I've tried a lot of the flint striker torches. Easy to use. Design is nice and compact. Decent capacity and they're clear so you can see how much fuel is left. Only complaint is durability as they're not the best. 3 of them had the roller stop working and just stuck. For the money I'm not upset with them and I'd buy them again.

These lighters are fine when you first start using them but stop working fairly quickly. They’re cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. They produce a nice flame but the adjusting is pretty tricky. Temperamental.

I was only able to fill one torch. Another I got about 1mm of butane in. Idk what the problem is but 4 of them are DOA. Will not fill using Neon 7x or 11x butane. Otherwise it seems a fine little torch. Idk why I'm having such a bad time finding a silent torch.

Ok so here is my honest opinion about these lighters. First all of the bad things that i read seem to be what i would consider operator error and/or bad luck. They are not without flaws but have been well worth the purchase. This might be a bit long for a lighter review but i bet many of you will benefit from reading this for information that you may not know about all touch lighters, so please be patient and take a break and read this. Its good for your brain and insightful for lighter management. And feel free to like if you actually find it helpful in anyway. To start the price is right Mr Gilmore! Oh the 2nd one is coming out soon, sorry off topic! Anyway, got em on time, not decorative but functional, id say neutral in gender assignment but a little more dainty than many lighters , they strike fairly easy but if you have dexterity issues in your hands it could be an issue, but all in working order so I filled them up and adjusted them with the bottom adjustment wheel and all worked great. They are much quieter when lighting but its kinda nullified by the slap when closing the lid. You have to close the lid to turn it off and stop the fuel flow so no avoid having to close it but the solution is simple; put your thumb slightly on the side of the lip when closing and it doesn’t smack the top making noise then slide your finger out the way. Option 2 is to put a little piece of padding on the very edge of the lip where it will be out of the way of the flame and then it will not make the loud clap noise when closing. Problem solved! Just be smart on the padding if going that route, you don’t want melted anything dripping into the lighter! The lighter gets plenty hot enough for its intended use but will not compete with the heavier and bigger lighter so its not a cutting tourch but effective for most things intended and not! The fuel not cutting off until closed can be a draw back to some but i think we are talented enough to brush it aside as a nonissue and it will usually close when dropped but for movie theater effects it looks cool if you light it and toss it aside when lit in slow motion and then add some CGI to it with flames exploding around you. Lol! Also note that the fuel cuts of at the point the spring engages so you can use something to stop it before closing all the way. Now the flints have not been a issue for me although i do have one in need of replacing. The flints are actually better than expected. They might get used up faster than many in the lighter world but it’s because it makes a substantial spark making it effective for lighting the fuel spraying out at high pressure. The tanks are a fair size, not big but hold plenty for 3-7 days depending unless you are torching for long periods. In that case 1-3 days is fair. If left open then shame on you. Now a tip for all who use touch lighters; some know but i found many people do not know that you should purge your tank before each refill you may be ok skipping one or two every now and again but recommend between each refill. Just take a small slender poking device but not a needle and push down on the bottom metal pin in the middle of the adjustment wheel. It will often spray out with force and even a little gas but that’s what you want to happen. This removes the excess pressure and dirty fuel from the ligher keeping the tank from cracking from pressure and keeps the flame from having problems like spitting, sputtering, not lighting from to much or little pressure, and keeps the burner or regulator from clogging up. These are the reasons why most tourch lighters will fail outside of the ignition system that sparks, which this lighter using a flint makes easy to fix. I did have one of these stop lighting despite fuel coming out and sparking well so i did my usual thing and took it apart. It’s quite simple and easy to clean and work on so do not be afraid to work on them and use 2 broken ones to make one working lighter. Now in my case it turns out that the metal regulator where the flame comes out had become dirty and this increased the pressure the gas would spray out at way too high pressure making it impossible to ignite so caution with cheap fuel as often its less refined and contains more contaminants. Now higher refined fuel also doesn’t mean better quality of fuel but in general it should. The additives and chemicals that make the fuel can leave invisible buildup and cause the lighter regulators to clog and not light up. Use rubbing alcohol and a needle to clean them out without damaging them and breaking them into pieces otherwise it may nor work any longer. One other thing to note is it is good practice to turn the flame adjustment down immediately after filling. Some say before but I found lighters sometimes will not fill as quickly and sometimes not at all if turned to low. So less than halfway is recommended but not all the way down, do that after then let it adjust to the ambient temperature to make it light properly then adjust to your liking. And when refilling the tank hold the lighter upside down and push the gas canister down firmly and evenly to minimize any gas loss. A proper nozzle tip may be necessary and crucial to make your fuel last without wasting it to the atmosphere! It is normal to have a little spray out when making contact initially and when it becomes fully pressurized. If the tank is not fully filled then you can do one of two things or 3, lol . First you will hear people say pumo the can. This will work but each pump you loose gas form the tank of the lighter and the refill canister as it makes room and releases pressure. 2nd I personally recommend to use a poker to push the pin on the bottom while upside to release pressure so little gas is wasted and usually it’s mostly the pressurized air left in the tank keeping it from taking in more fuel. Over pressurizing the tank will often cause it to crack making the lighter unusable and effectively making it spare parts if you have others. If the lighter is cheap and the refill canister fully pressurized then maybe its best to leave the tank half empty to prevent destroying the lighter tank. There are some things I might not have mentioned but I have gone on long enough and don’t want to give so much information none of it sticks! Haha! So I hope this is helpful and i did not waste my time trying to be helpful, but if so no harm no foul and i will see if i can get my time refunded… just remember to take care if working on any lighter so small parts do not fly off and become lost and be aware of what goes where and how it aligns with everything else. I have fat fingers and clumsy hands and can fix them just fine so be patient and enjoy your lighters for many years as most of mine do!

I’m glad I took a chance on these. There’s a lot of reviews that state these as being cheap. You all are crazy. These are the best flint torch lighters you can get on amazon. They’re heavy, solid, and actually hold a good amount of fluid compared to other flint lighters. Also it’s a 5 pack. What more could you ask for!?

Good lighters for the ones that work. Some in the package would not stay lit or light at all. They look great and good in windy conditions.

Only 2 worked but that was a good thing cause that gave me parts to use on the 2 that worked. using the parts I was able to get maybe 3 refills on both

I have owned a lot of torches (blue flame lighters) over the years, so I have a pretty high standard for good vs. bad. So far, I am quite impressed with these. They are slightly smaller than they appear on the listing. They are not much bigger than a regular Bic lighter (just a little thicker). But the reservoir seems quite large and hold a good amount of fuel. I also like the fact that you can adjust the flame without a screwdriver but the flame adjustment is not just a dial on the bottom. Those tend to get knocked around while in your pocket or bag. This one requires that you flip out a lever to adjust the flame. It fills smoothly, without any sputtering or spray. The only thing that worries me is the flip-up mechanism. Since that is what starts the flow of fuel, if it should break, the lighter is caput. Only time will tell. However, I do love that the cover also covers the flint wheel. I've had other flint activated torches which do not have this and the flint wheel has gotten caught on the fabric of my bag or pocket and been pulled completely free from the lighter. That should not happen here. All-in-all I'm very happy with my purchase so far. For the price I don't expect them to last forever but as long as I get a few months out of them the pack of 5 should last a couple years and you can't ask for more than that for 20 bucks. Will update as I use them.
