Is this really any different than the testers selling for less than $15? They test Moissanite as diamond as well.

Yes, it is very different. I bought a cheaper tester and it was sadly junk. You can always test one and return it if it does not work.

I charged it for 6 hours. Now it does nothing.What is wrong?

I had rechargeable one before and didn’t like it. Charge didn’t last long and the charger didn’t either but while the tester worked it was very accurate so I replaced it with their battery only version. The regular battery version because those batteries are cheap and replaceable easily. The unit works fine and do recommend it.
