desertcart.com: All This Twisted Glory (This Woven Kingdom, 3): 9780062972507: Mafi, Tahereh: Books Review: Thrilling! - The first book I thought was hard to get through because the character dialogue and the writing just wasn’t quite there for me. But I decided to keep going and I LOVED the second book and now after the 3rd? I couldn’t put it down it’s a great series and I’m excited to see what happens! And the slow burn over two books? I would’ve given up on that but I’m hooked on this! I am rooting for Cyrus! Review: Cyrus or Kamran - Alizeh must choose - After the way These Infinite Threads ended, I couldn't wait for the next book in the series to be released. And then the cover for All This Twisted Glory was released and I was beyond myself - so pretty. But also I needed more of Alizeh and Cyrus and couldn't wait until it was released. All This Twisted Glory picks up pretty much right where These Infinite Threads left off. Kamran and his ragtag group of "friends" are on their way to Tulan. Alizeh still isn't sure if she should marry Cyrus, but her people are waiting for her - demanding she show herself as the Queen that she is. Without giving too much away - I feel like not a lot happened for a good chunk of the book. The last 1/3 of the book picked up considerable speed, but the pacing felt off. Whereas, even though I feel like not a lot happened in These Infinite Threads either - the angst, tension and story were still compelling. Will I be continuing on with this series - ABSOLUTELY. I need to know more about Cyrus. So many nuggets were dropped about his past and I need this poor tortured sad boy to tell us more. I did enjoy the Kamran chapters slightly more than I did in the last book - but ugh is Miss Huda supposed to be that annoying? Loved loved loved Hazzan and need to know more about him! Overall - I really enjoyed this book, but not as much as the previous one. I just need more Alizeh + Cyrus please.

Dark, Addictive, and Utterly Captivating
"All the Twisted Glory" completely consumed me from page one. The writing is sharp and emotionally charged, pulling you into a world where love, obsession, and betrayal blur together in the most deliciously twisted ways. Every character feels real—flawed, raw, and unforgettable. I found myself torn between rooting for them and questioning their every move, which made the experience all the more thrilling. The plot was a perfect mix of slow-burn tension, shocking reveals, and emotional depth. Just when I thought I had it figured out, the story took another dark and brilliant turn. It’s one of those books that lingers in your mind long after you’ve finished the last page. If you're a fan of gritty, character-driven stories that don’t shy away from the darker corners of the human psyche, All the Twisted Glory is a must-read. It’s intense, haunting, and completely satisfying. I can't wait to see what this author writes next!

A whirlwind story
The writing in this series is so beautiful. This book just sucked me in from page one, and I was enraptured till the end. It’s truly a whirlwind story as so much happens in so little time. I almost felt as overwhelmed and exhausted as the characters as they faced one thing after another after another. This is both genius for the writer, as it gets readers to fly through the pages, but it almost makes the pacing a little too overwhelming. I could hardly catch my breath through the story with this dire need to keep reading because everything happening is so climactic and so fast-paced. There’s not a dull moment to the story which is great, but I almost wish that book two had been made longer, or this book didn’t end so abruptly after so much fast-paced action. I’d have preferred an ending that allowed me time to catch my breath and give me a moment to settle from the story as I wait the next book. Instead I’m left right in the middle of an epic moment, and I’m left unsatisfied. Looking at the overall series so far, I think the breaks in the story between books could have been better placed. That’s my only critique. Otherwise this is a well-written, magical story I can’t wait to continue reading in the next book!

Excellent, if a little short
Tahereh Mafi is a great author, and I have been enjoying this series. The only reason it got one less star is because I feel the story could be moving along at a slightly faster pace. I mean, the entire book took place in a matter of days, and while I understand the style of writing, there was a bit too much internal dialogue between the two main characters especially that could have been cut down. Will I continue buying the books in the series even if it ends up being about 10 books? Yes. I'm still loving the characters, and I cannot wait to see how the story plays out.
