I was looking for a better way to encourage and assist my daughter in sentence building and then I stumbled upon this. I can say for a fact that this is the best product gotten cos it’s been so helpful in our journey to constructing meaningful sentences. The fun game activities we come up with and is also enriching. The quality is top notch as the blocks are very durable. I wish it had magnets in it so I could pin it to my fridge so she’s busy with it while I cook but above all it is a good choice for sentence construction,

Perfect for purpose

I love these hand2mind Reading Rods for Sentence Construction for my 5 year old grandson. He read 4 sentences that I created right away when we opened it. Soon he’ll be making his own sentences. These rods really seemed to help him understand that words are individual structures that can be put together to make a complete thought. Each part of speech is color coded and packed in the box according to their part of speech. So when his sentence needs a verb, he can look at a particular color to find all the verbs. Very helpful! They also have tenses (has, have, had, haves, etc. all on the same rod), and punctuation. I believe this set will be used for a very long time as his grammar experience becomes more complex. The rods are easy to snap together, and easy to pull apart. This was an excellent purchase!

My son love to play with these and his number blocks. Great quality, kind of reminds me of some of the cubes we used in school.

Exactly as described. Came quickly. You have to be familiar with your parts of speech in order to not be digging around the box looking for words (guilty!!) They're all color coated, so if you know your parts of speech (prepositions, auxiliary, etc) it'll be seamless. Otherwise, even with the rooting around for the words, it's fine.
