TOMS Womens Desert Wedge

I was so anxious to rave about these boots that I did it first on the Burgundy ones...but I bought the taupe. What I said under Burgundy was: I had never heard of Tom's shoes and now I am only sorry they don't make more styles. I bought the desert bootie. I am a reliable 7M and the shoes fit perfectly. I wore them all day the first time out of the box, and they are comfortable. Went out to dinner and a complete stranger complimented me on my shoes. THAT never happens. Someone at work asked what size I wear because the shoes make my feet look small. (I wish Tom's could do that in jeans and pants!) There is an internal elastic that will help the boot keep its shape. The heel is tall enough to make my legs longer, and short enough to be comfortable all day. I didn't see any defects anywhere.And they are so cute I can barely stand it.Color: perfect (I mean the taupe but I think it will be true for Burgandy too). Fit: great. Look: fabulous. I think they will wear gracefully, even if they get spotted or stained.The extra super plus: the company gives away a pair of shoes to a needy child for every pair you buy -- and the price is still reasonable.

I used to think Toms were boring and not particularly cute until I saw someone wearing these downtown last winter. At the time, the taupe suede weren't sold on Amazon and I tried finding them at Nordstrom's only to be told by the snooty salesman that they had been sold out forever and as a fall item, they wouldn't be getting more for months (if ever, because according to him, something this fashionable would probably only be released once, not season after season.... erm, okay). I bought the black ones they had in the store that day (only one pair left in my size) and loved them. I got compliments every time I wore them and they are probably the most comfortable high heeled/wedge shoes that I own. I liked the black ones so much, I decided to get on the waitlist on the Nordstrom website for the taupe. Thrice I got the email alert that my size was available, logging in within 30 minutes and finding that they'd already sold out again. They were sold out everywhere for months but one day I decided to check Amazon for the 100th time and suddenly, there they were. I ordered them immediately and have continued to consistently get compliments whenever I wear them.The only downside is that they are very difficult to get on as the opening doesn't stretch very much (maybe this is just me?). I bought a shoe horn on here and that's been very helpful.

Loved the shoes, but too small. I was told to buy smaller. Wish I would have bought my regular size. Had to return them.

I absolutely LOVE these Tom's Desert Wedge shoes. They fit like a dream and I can wear them for hours without my feet hurting. I bought this color, as well as the black one and the chestnut one, and I wear this color the most. It says Taupe, but to me it looks more like a light greyish color. I always get so many compliments when I wear them. I love them so much and have already recommended them to all my friends! They run true to size and I tend to hate wearing shoes that pinch my little toe (my feet are not wide, but my little toe area sticks out, so sometimes shoes hurt me and I like wide shoes better) but these do not pinch, they are seriously soooo comfy!

I tried to branch out and buy a style of shoe I think is really cute but never wear. I've worn them once because I'm just not sure how to pull it off. I think it's cuz I'm tall and heels make me look like a giant raptor. But anyway, they are comfortable and cute for sure.

I bought these shoes a few years ago in a different color and now these in this color and I absolutely love them! They look exactly how they are in the picture. They are the most comfortable wedges I have owned where I can wear them all day long and my feet do not hurt. I highly recommend these wedges to people who want a wedge that is comfortable, stylish yet casual and for people like me who can not walk in heels or have their feet hurt easily.

I run around after two small kids all day and have been looking for a stylish boot that is comfortable as well. This is it! I spent an entire day on my feet and never had a problem the first time I wore them. Great neutral color and very comfortable. I wear between an 8 1/2 and 9 and the nine fit perfectly. The heel is the perfect height!

I love this shoe and ordered it from Amazon not realizing that I would have to pay for returns. When the shoes arrived with glue and damage to the toe of one shoe I returned it...but at my own expense. Found the same product at a different retailer that had free shipping and returns and love them!
