Le Creuset Classic Adjustable Salt Mill Grinder, Chip-Resistant ABS Plastic, Anti-Corrosion, 40g, 21 cm, Soleil, 96002000403000

The quality of the grinders is fantastic. I must have owned about a dozen salt and pepper mills over the years, and there are streets ahead of anything else.Incidentally, the salt and pepper grinders are identical apart from the S and P on the top. The grinders are the same.Why only four stars if I love them so much? Well, the colour of the plastic bodies is /slightly/ different to the supposedly matching ceramic Le Creuset items (jugs, mugs, etc). It's similar, but not identical. And I'm such a fussy bugger that I think that warrants losing a star!

These look great! I got the salt and pepper mill in Flint Grey. I also purchased the Le Creuset silicone caps seperate..which I think are a must to keep the spices fresh. I also bought a T&G Acacia mill holder which holds them perfectly fine with the silicone caps on.

They look good but sadly the top of the pepper grinder came off after 4 months as the thread has gone. Very pleased with the grinders but spoilt by the poor construction, I wouldn't recommend! I still have a pepper grinder that I bought over 20 years ago and it still works but it wasn't made by Le Creuset so I shall go back to them for a new pot.

This salt mill looks great, however it's not working so well. When you grind the salt it's sticking to the bottom of the mill so you actually use double the amount of the salt when cooking purely because half of it sticks to the bottom of the mill. I bought the pepper mill with it too, and that one works fine.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought both pepper and salt mills less than one year ago. Minimum usage daily by two older people. The salt mill is not grinding properly and seems to be allowing salt to escape from neck of appliance. I have had to put salt mill in a ramekin dish to contain the wasted salt!!I would like a replacement in the hope that this mill was a falty product.Ros

I like the shape and size of the salt mill and the grinding mechanism is very smooth, also quiet! The salt after it has been ground is very easy flowing and grinds into a smooth, seasoning condiment.Very pleased with the look and the performance.

An excellent product that apparently has a 10-year guarantee. The problem is we don't have an invoice to file in case we have a problem
