The standard version of Return To Forever featuring twelve brand new tracks on 2 LP Vinyl including the single, We Built This House. Review: This Album Rocks Like A Hurricane - I am having Scorpions party for the last few weeks. Herman Rarebell And Friends' Scorpions Songs that has different colour to their well known music. Uli Jon Roth's Scorpions Revisited that gives new life to those almost forgotten songs. And now this Return To Forever. The real deal. A real comeblack or a true return as their peers AC/DC's Rock Or Bust and Billy Idol's Kings And Queens Of The Underground . Four days since the pre-ordered beautiful black digibook with brilliant shiny silver crown delivered to my door on the release day and the disc is just spinning round and round and round, loud and non stop. First play was a bit confusing. Second play and that's it. This got to be another best sting. I love Scorpions simply for their good lyrics, rocking riffs, unforgettable music and evergreen vocal. Their albums I love most are from entrance of Matthias Jabs to departure of Herman Rarebell. Later albums I got them only later. Some were good and some were experimental type changing direction which I felt a little bad about. So what was I expecting now? Obviously another rock like a hurricane and I got it. 'Going Out With A Bang' opens the album with blues rock riff that any rock fan falls in love at first sting. It's powerful good opener for an album. 'We Built This House', the single release a month ago, is a melodic typical Scorpions song which is obviously the highest peak of the album. 'Rock My Car' is stadium anthem. 'House Of Cards' is a ballad with signature Scorpions arpeggios on acoustic guitar. 'All For One' and 'Rolling Home' have a little of pop rock feel but I like it. 'Eye Of The Storm' sounds a proper slow pop song ballad but it matches perfect with Klaus' sweet melodious voice. 'Rock N Roll Band', 'Catch Your Luck And Play' and 'Hard Rocking The Place' are energetic numbers. 'The Scratch' is rock 'n' roll. 'Gypsy Life' is another good ballad. 'The World We Used To Know' is equivalent to Wind Of Change and Under The Same Sun. The rest 'Dancing With The Moonlight' rocks well and again the good ballads 'When the Truth Is A Lie' and 'Who We Are' conclude the album. There is not a single track that I skip. All rocking. The digibook consists of lyrics, production info, pictures and pouch where goes the disc. The last four tracks say bonus tracks on this deluxe edition but I don't see anywhere a standard edition. So altogether 16 smashing numbers. Deserves more than five stars. This is coming home. Rock 'N' Roll \m/, Review: Love at First Sting - To the folks here who say this album is average, or that this album is not the Scorpions... I have to ask what exactly are you listening to? I have been a fan of the scorpions since 1984, when I boutght a newly released album by a band I knew nothing about. Love at First Sting. What I love about the Scorpions is there ability to consistently write the VERY best rock available today, this album is no different, it is 'classic' Scorpions, and I have had it on repeat in my car since its release. I have never gotten bored or even slightly disappointed by any of it,it grows and grows in my mind to the point of feeling that emotional connection even when talking about it. it's a true masterclass of rock Not only that but the Scorpions consistently show every rock band how to write a ballad and this album has two of the best ballads they have ever written, House of Cards and Rolling Home. To the doubters and the folks who say this isn't a scorpions album, go back and re-listen folks... Your missing out on one of their very best!

Going Out With A Bang? yes they are.....
...... what a sensational album and if it proves to be the last studio disc, well what an ending. Never got round to buying the original release and managed to pick up the 'tour edition' for a decent price, wow talk about value for money,3 discs totally 7 hrs of CD/DVD content. Disc 1 quite magnificent, the band hit the sweet spot with track after track which have enough radio friendly moments and hard rocking excellence to rock the airwaves and still keep the rock world happy High;ights? well 'just try 'Going out With a Bang','House of Cards','Rock n Roll Band' for starters. This edition has 7 bonus tracks which are all of high quality. Discs 2/3 are 2 concerts from America and France and are sensational, this band have still got it in spades. How good is this release? well had you bought the single cd already you should probably buy this as well

the production is excellent and it packs in pretty much everything you could ...
Immaculate. This is the farewell album that the fans deserved and that the Scorpions owed themselves. The songs are really strong, the production is excellent and it packs in pretty much everything you could want from this band, with little or no filler. 'Unbreakable' has long been my favourite album of their comeback / post-90s era but I think this may well supplant it. I must mention Klaus' voice - it's their main weapon and the fact that it's as strong now (to my ears anyway) as at any time previously, is astounding, especially when you consider what's happened to other singers of the same era (like David Lee Roth or Brian Johnson, both of whom I love, but they don't sound like they once did). Matthias Jabs really lets rip on this record and, for me, he deserves all the attention and more so often reserved for prodigal son (ex-Scorpion) Michael Schenker. If this is their last record, then it's a great final statement - I just hope I can catch them on tour.

Outstanding!!!!!
This is by far the best Scorpions release for ages, can`t stop playing it, full of great songs except one, Rock my car, the lyrics were just so corny had to delete it. Loads of ballads which they are so good at and they are all right up there with Send me an Angel and Still Loving You.The rest is fresh and new, if your a Scorpions fan this is a must. Please Scorpions add a few more UK dates to your tour, we love you here as well you know!

scorpions never ever fail to deliver
scorpions never ever fail to deliver another quality album from the masters, the desire to keep making top class tunes after 50 years is astounding. the amazing thing for me no song never sounds the same as another all their albums have a different feel to them, unlike other bands you've heard it all before,so for me that's very impressive and that is why scorpions will always be my all time favourite band, they got it right with the single we built this house on a rock they where made to last. just a heart warming band love them

This was a welcome surprise. Last few albums weren't so good. But this one is a triumphant return to form. And this tour edition is packed with extras including live concert. Mostly killer-little filler. And the studio production sound is the best it's been in a long time. They nailed it!
