Great that its plastic as its less fragile than if it was glass, does the job just as I need it to.

I bought this Chef Aid 1 litre measuring jug, mainly just to replace an old one, and it’s ended up being something I use pretty much daily. The first time I used it, I noticed how clear the markings are. I don’t have to tilt it or guess, I can just look straight on and measure quickly, which makes things easier when I’m in the middle of cooking. The size is ideal as well. 1 litre feels just right, big enough for most things without being awkward to handle or store. I have been using it for different things like measuring water, milk, and mixing, and it’s been consistent and easy to use every time. What I like most is how lightweight but still sturdy it feels. It’s easy to pick up and pour without feeling flimsy. Cleaning it has been straightforward too, just a quick rinse and it’s ready again. It’s one of those simple kitchen items that doesn’t seem like much, but once you have a good one, you end up reaching for it all the time.

These measuring jugs are ideal for any modern kitchen. Because they are plastic, instead of glass, they are lightweight, but durable and most importantly, WON'T smash if you drop them!!! With a 1litre capacity and measurements clearly visible on the sides, these make an excellent addition to any kitchen.

Arrived in excellent condition. Easy to read measurements. I personally use it to rinse my hair. Used almost daily, measurments still clearly visible. Feels very sturdy. Although l would not use it a microwave or dish washer. However before purchasing a pirex jug l did make gravy into it and it was absulutely fine. Good price. Wrapped well, next day delivery.

I would give half a star if possible as the blue writing came of on my hand and was only stored on the shelf
