10 Jumbo Vacuum Storage Bags for Bedding, Vacuum Seal Bags for Clothing

If you have a college student send them with it! Perfect for moving and making extra space when traveling back and forth! The sizes are great because some can hold a full comforter or pillows. Others can hold clothes and so on. Helped big time with providing extra space. The pump works great and can be used with a vacuum. They look good and are soft on clothes. They hold air well and the material is strong. Plastic is strong material for traveling in the back of a truck and filled up to the max.

I'm moving without using a U-Haul and literally could not do it without these bags. They save so much space. These are huge and easy to close, I prefer these to the name brand! Would buy again.

Update: I decided to increase my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars because I am really liking these bags now that I can use my Vacbird pump with it. I need this big of a bag to store comforters and pillows. I also like that the clip that is supposed to help you cinch the seal is attached and not a loose piece that is just in the box. I like that when you cinch the seal, the seal turns from white to blue when you truly pinch it closed. These jumbo bags are enormous! I needed a bag this size though for a very thick full/queen size comforter. In my picture, I’ve put a king size pillow next to the bag so you can see the size. I found it difficult to get the bag fully zipped. Every time I thought it was completely zipped, I could hear air escaping. Then I found an area where I needed to seal the zipper. Once I got the bag zipped completely, I was able to remove the air, but let me tell you that using a manual pump to remove air from a jumbo bag took forever and my arms got tired and will probably be sore tomorrow. The great news though is that my Vacbird electric pump worked with these bags!! I was so relieved to discover that. Overall, I’m glad I bought these bags since I can’t get bags this big with Vacbird and my Vacbird electric pump works with these bags. I wish it were a little easier to seal the bags, but I’m just glad to have bags of this size. One thing to note is that once you remove the air, the bag/contents are pretty stiff so it’s hard to fold it. Try to get the contents exactly the way you want it to be afterwards before removing the air.

These bags are great, should have bought a smaller size, the Jumbo bags hold alot of clothes. Will reorder again but smaller size. Make sure you read the bags measurements. The hand pump works as described it decompresses. The end strip seal is a little tricky, definitely need to use the sliding clip.

We have used these twice now for moving. These saved us so much space when packing pillows, jackets, clothes, & blankets. Affordable and great quality! Some them we have reused several times without any issue. In the picture is jackets and you can my husbands Carhartt jacket (which is a 2x) Highly recommend!

Holy moly! I used 4 or 5 of these. Perfect to store my winter clothes. And my sons. And i went from 11 various sized boxes, to one big box. Just for clothes! And the hand pump doesn't take forever to get the air out either. Just don't over stuff the bags. Leave room to seal it properly and vacuum. The bags themselves, obviously light weight. Even when moving them when full, just varies with whats in them. And the bags do suggest what NOT to put in them. Just so the bags aren't punctured or items dont get ruined from being vacuum sealed. I liked that.

I got these to store my sweaters and free up drawer space for my summer clothes. I learned how to crochet and am finally up to making sweaters so my pile has grown significantly. I was quite pleased with the compaction when using the pump. I now have a solid brick of sweaters that fit between my dresser and my wall. I am going to use the bags for my yarn, too. What better way to keep the yarn fresh, dust-free, moth-free, and organized than to squish it all down?! I got the idea from a post wherein the poster showed how their yarn had arrived vacuum sealed. We all had a good laugh, but then we all thought . . . this is brilliant! No longer will I accidentally use this skein or that hank for a project when I had purchased it for something else. If I have to table a project for a bit I can seal it up, with the hook, so everything stays together. For smaller projects I'll use my food sealer, but for blankets these bags are roomy enough. Now, the travel bags were a disappointment. I rolled and rolled and rolled, and I felt as though the bags would burst before they would blow out air. They simply don't work as well as the pump bags. It's a nice thought, but execution is lacking. Someone mentioned spraying Febreeze in their bags before sealing. On one hand it's clever, but on the other I'm thinking it would Have to completely dry before sealing, and I don't have that sort of patience. A dryer sheet, sachet, or a soap sleeve, though . . . there's potential there. My biggest concern with traveling with sealed bags is TSA. If those guys decide to have a peek in my bag and unsealed it, what a mess that could be! Clothing Definitely wrinkles. Most hotels have irons these days, but I'll caution that a wrinkle release spray may be a good idea to pack. The other issue I ran into with travel was the length of the bag once sealed and pumped out. The bag is quite inflexible so it's difficult to fit into a bag and one must plan carefully when arranging clothes in the bag prior to pulling the air out. Mine also did not flatten, but curled. That made for wasted space in my bag for our return trip. I may have overstuffed and likely should have brought along a second bag. I didn't realize it was going to be in the 50s in Vegas and we would need to purchase additional clothing to be comfortable. I used a carry-on sized bag, which is normally more than sufficient for 5 days, even for a gal; however, with those additional clothes and souvenirs (and lotions I got hoodwinked into purchasing /sigh) I found myself having to get creative, and I had to unzip the extender for the first time. I'm traveling again so if I use the bags and find that two works better than one, I'll update. The pump fit fine so I tossed the roll up bags to the side and took the pump with me instead. I do recommend getting an electric pump. It was quite the work out, and not too pleasant with arthritis and herniated discs. I survived without serious injury (only a crick in the neck that wouldn't go away), but an electric pump would have been appreciated. Update 20240403: I maintain that the travel roll up bags are not all they're cracked up to be. The seller issued a refund to me with me asking, which I appreciate; however, it wasn't necessary as I was happy with the vacuum bags. My husband had a ruptured aneurysm 10/29/23 and we were in a different city for his therapies. We would come home and I would tell him to take back what he wasn't wearing so we could swap for things he would wear (I had to pack in a hurry!). Well, his poor stroke brain forgot the part about bringing things back home, but it sure did remember to take more things on the return trip to the rehab center. Flash forward 4½ months (and 5 trips) to packing day and I'm Totally overwhelmed, not knowing how we're going to fit all his clothes into my truck. I'm telling y'all, these bags allowed us to get Everything, including a vacuum cleaner, computer, and therapy gear into my truck. Without these bags there would have been some difficult decisions to make! I did have to leave one item behind, but the family living center was happy to receive it (a cart that was key to helping me get things to and from our 2nd floor room). So, if you're someone who tends to pack on the heavy side and then end up in a conundrum when it comes time to go home, here's my strategy tip: pack for the trip without the bags, then pack to go home With the bags. Housekeeping might even be so kind (or entertained by your foibles) as to lend you their vacuum cleaner to seal faster. :D Oh, husband is better, but he's not himself. He's alive and we're working from that point. He's 85% healed up, which is more than most aneurysm patients get, so we're counting ourselves lucky.

I'm not impressed by this variety pack of vacuum bags. I'm leaving this review after a year, when most of the bags are gone. That means I'm writing these details from memory, and some details aren't 100% accurate. But my memories of these bags leave a lot to be desired. They do exactly what they say, and I did get some good usage out of them. There weren't any major flaws that made me want to return them, and the product page was accurate. You know exactly what you're getting. However, I struggle to imagine myself using these bags more often or buying replacements when the last few inevitably break. You're probably better off buying multi-purpose plastic storage containers, a specific size of bag, or changing your plans entirely. I used these bags for long term storage, for packing a backpack and suitcase on multiple flights, and for saving space on a super long road trip. All of those use cases have some major "maybe don't do that" problems. I definitely would have struggled more on my road trip without the bags, but that's because I made terrible plans and ended up having to pack too much of my old apartment into my car. In another review, I said to pack less stuff. That also applies here. I'd you're considering these bags for very limited space travel, don't. After using the bags multiple different ways, I realized you realistically only need 3 sizes. The super small hand-compression bags that don't need a vacuum because you squeeze them with your arms, a medium sized bag for smaller items like multiple shirts, and a mega big bag for large towels and blankets. All the other random sizes are just clutter when you're looking for a bag that will hold several towels and you accidentally grab a large bag instead of a jumbo bag. So that's one negative mark on the bags. The package includes way too many weird sizes. It's perfect if you only need one specific size, but you'll probably struggle to actually use all the bags effectively. So it makes the value proposition a bit rough. You're buying a combo pack, but some of it will just become trash. If the manufacturers are reading this, make the three sizes color coded, so you can always grab a specific size from the pile of bags. That would help a lot. You can always leave part of the bag empty, and fold up the unused part. So having more bigger bags would be better. The problem with using the bags as long term storage is that they slowly re-inflate. The valve doesn't hold in air over a long time. The manual that came with the bags says you should re-vacuum the bags after a while. I forget if it's 6 weeks or 3 months, but the bags will never hold their vacuum if you store winter clothes inside, which is a major strike against using these for storage. I understand the laws of physics make this a nearly impossible task, but I must ask what the purpose of long term storage is when you need to re-pack your stuff every few months. At that point, just use a different storage method. The bags still hold some vacuum after 6 months, but they're less "TV infomercial shrinking magic", and more "big ziploc bag" after they settle in. So a big box is probably just as good. The problem with traveling with vacuum bags, is the traveling part. On an airplane, the weight is a major problem, and you might get caught with an overweight bag if you compress too much stuff into your suitcase, like I did. Plus, it's just annoying to travel with too much stuff. The more you try to cram into your suitcase, the worse your travel experience will be. Repacking vacuum bags in a hotel before a flight is the worst thing ever. Plus, you need a portable vacuum. I got one of those too. Please, learn from my mistake and pack less stuff. You probably don't need it, and you can just do laundry on the trip. With one exception I'll explain at the end. On the road trip, the bags were just as much a liability as an asset. That's where I found out that vacuum bags love snagging on random corners, and these specific bags love to get giant holes poked in them if they aren't sitting on a nice flat surface. I broke around 3-4 bags on the trip, which was an unpleasant surprise that left me without enough large bags to keep everything compressed. Plus, I was hotel hopping, which made me realize how horrible it is to have to revacuum your bags when leaving a hotel. Seriously, just pack less stuff. Needing to buy things just to cleanly store the other things you bought is a sign you might have a problem. If you're depending on vacuum bags to make everything fit ona trip, you're eventually going to run into an unpleasant surprise when one of them breaks. You could pack extras, but with extra bags with bulky valves and a vacuum pump, you're really eating into the extra space you thought you'd get by vacuuming all your stuff. These bags really aren't good for traveling. The one exception for travel were the super-small bags you could hand compress. Those were actually great for hopping between hotels on a road trip. The bags don't have the plastic valve, so they're super thin and the empty bags fit anywhere. Instead of a traditional plastic valve with a locking cap, the travel bags use a valve at the bottom of the bag. They have a zipper at the top, but the bottom is technically open. There's a long S bend at the bottom, and the two sides of the bag will stick to each other. You can force air out by compressing the bag like a balloon, which pushes the valve open to let the air out. But the sides of the bag stick to each other, and block air from getting back inside the bag. Ironically, those seem to hold their vacuum the best, although their design means that you can't get anywhere as good if a vacuum. I needed some bulky winter pants, but only if I was going to be outside for a long period of time. I also needed to pack them in my backpack instead of my suitcase, so I could change clothes in the middle of the day. Being able to throw those pants into a vacuum bag that I only opened sometimes was great, and the bag kept them in a nice package that was easy to organize in my backpack. I also used the hand bags for emergency clothes, in case I got stuck without my suitcase. Which has happened on 2 out of 3 flights one month in 2024. Family emergencies are rough. If there was a pack of 15 of those bags with no plastic valve, I'd gladly buy them, because it's really hard to go wrong with having a few extras for traveling. They keep your clothes clean, compact, and organized in the rest of your bag. But this pack only has like, three of them, which isn't enough for traveling. You're better off looking somewhere else for vacuum bags, or finding another solution for storage. I'm going to keep the leftover bags around, but in the future I'm probably not going to buy a variety pack of bags. I'm either going to be nothing buy mega jumbo bags for quilts and use them like giant ziplock bags to keep my late grandma's quilts clean, or I'm going to buy a pack of travel bags because they're surprisingly good. But I'm not buying this variety pack again. Although I guess it served it's purpose of helping me figure out what size bags I need, and what qualities I care about in a vacuum bag.

Brilliant quality and easy to use!

I bought it because I had read about using vacuum bags for clothes, and someone had also recommended it to me, but I don't have a vacuum cleaner and I would back out if I used it. I saw this kit with its own pump and I was encouraged, and I have to say that I am very surprised at how it works. The included plunger pump works quite well, and with little effort extracts all the air. No vacuum cleaner or separate electric pumps are necessary. Once that is done, the valve is sealed and the air does not come out. The clothes are very compacted, made into a block and are easy to store. I have used it to store out of season clothes. For trips I don't know if it will be practical, because the clothes are very wrinkled when you recover them from having been in a vacuum, but for what I wanted it it is ideal.

Terrible experience

Je viens de l’acheter et l’utiliser pour faire mes bagages. L’air par l’aspirateur passe bien dans le sac et réduit le volume. Il faut bien fermer avec les petits fermoirs blancs fournis. Certaines dimensions des sacs ne sont pas idéales pour les valises. Mieux vaut choisir les Nordics sacs sous vide toujours chez Amazon. (Mais une seule dimension). Moi j’ai acheté les deux, les autres sacs serviront pour la maison car dans ce carton il y a un meilleur choix de sacs (si je veut aussi par exp emballer des pantalons (sacs plus grands). Au début j’ai mis pleins d’habits mais j’ai du en enlever car il faut faire attention, le poids ne change pas … en tout cas je suis arrivée à destination avec des sacs qui ont bien tenus leur vide et les habits étaient très peu froissés. Un suggestion serait de les rouler si on peut. Première expérience réussie ! Pour le retour on verra comment procéder. Dans le carton il y a un appareil pour gonfler … ça sera plus long à faire, on verra. En tout cas je suis ravie de mon achat
