Parker Jotter, blk, Blister, Old Model

I'm not sure why Parker would sell a black pen with a blue refill in it. Strange. Not to worry. The first thing I did when I got this pen is ditch the refil and replace it with a space pen cartridge. I use this pen on a daily basis at work, albeit not with the original parker in cartridge in it. I like the stye. It's a classic. It reminds me of when I was a child and my mum had a Royal Bank of Scotland cheque-book in a blue plastic wallet. Contained within was a Parker Jotter pen. It was her favourite pen, and I can understand why. It just feels right in the hand. The plastic barrel is comfortable. It's not overly hot or cold like metal can be. It is easy to grip, and just the right size. The clip is useful, and the pop-up mechanism has a reassuring light 'clunk'. This is a marvel of design. This particular pen has been in my possession for the last two and a bit years and is still going strong. Sure, it has picked up a few scuffs along the way, but the clip is still there, and there is not a hint of degradation in the pen mechanism. I daresay I will lose it (probably to a light-fingered colleague) before it stops working.

Fantastic! Definitely the best pen I have ever used. Sleek, stylish and great to write with. Have received several compliments at work in regards to both the look and feel of this pen. Really like the design, they have slightly updated it but it's still as good. This particular seller is selling at a great price as they are much more expensive in physical shops. Will be purchasing a few!

Also, bought a Parker Jotter 'Special' Ball Pen with a red barrel and a Parker Jotter pen with a blue barrel, which appear to be exactly the same as this Black barrel. No idea why Parker give different titles to what appear to be the same pen, just with different colour barrels. My gripe, and the reason for deducting a star, is that all three pens came with blue ink. I actually, wanted three pens, one with black ink, one with blue ink and one with red ink. Consequently, having bought this black pen, I then had to buy a black refill to satisfy my need. It was the same with the red barrel pen I bought. So now I have two spare blue refills. However, as a pen it is fine and, if my previous experience with such Parker pens is satisfied, then I will have them for a long time. I lost my last pen.

This pen is great to write with, coming from someone who has been using cheap 10p pens for the past few years. Like said in the description, it comes with blue ink which is a tad confusing given the title of the product but I guess reading the descriptions of the things pay off. It arrived with no packaging, just in one of those envelopes with bubble wrap protecting it, but thats not something I really want anyway. It feels very study and light too, as well as the clicking mechanism feeling strong and genuine. Very pleased!

Very smooth to write with almost glides. The pen is smooth but quite thick so it takes me a little getting used to as i don't write much any more. Very comfortable to write with though and as it is smooth and not ridged it doesn't leave painful dents in your finger after a long session with it. Elegant finish. Great choice of colours, My friend has a black one like this and I have a solid pink one! Hope this helps : )

I bought this for my cousin, who lives in Singapore, where these things don't seem to exist. Well packed, and it arrived in very quick time. Latest info is that the pen works beautifully, and is much admired by the Bic brigade she's working with. Hence the 5 star rating. I'll return to the site to get her another one for Xmas. Well recommended.

DISAPPOINTED . . . These pens are NOT the old design pens, it’s another mass-produced cheapo more-for-less production model. I know what I’m looking for and this is NOT it. Don’t be fooled.

Excellent pen. I've had Parker Jotters before and they are a very nice writer and reliable to use. The body is black as requested and for the price I paid it is excellent value for money. A great pen! I definitely recommend it!

Seit nun mehreren Jahrzehnten benutze ich ausschließlich Parker Kugelschreiber. Diese sind für mich eine feste Größe , wenn es um Zuverlässigkeit , Griffigkeit und Lebensdauer eines Arbeitgerätes geht. Sie besitzen eine schlichte Eleganz und ich würde mich nicht so einfach für etwas anderes entscheiden - mehr muss ich nicht über dieses Arbeitstier sagen - Parker eben :-)
