Having a LG TV bough on 2018 and this remote works like a charm. Just need to add a couple of AAA batteries and you are good to go. Mic is not there as mentioned in the description so it works very well. I use Google Chromecast 4K device and this remote is operating that without any additional pairing etc which made me surprised. Please go for it.

INFERIOR QUALITY
Doesn't meet your expectations. Buttons are so hard that you need to press them hard and repeatedly for it to work. Amazon should keep such products, brands and vendors out of its system. It will affect the credibility of Amazon brand if such brands are not kept out of the platform.
