Does it come assembled?

No, it comes in a surprisingly small box and you assemble yourself. Though assembly is relatively straightforward, it is fiddly (LOTS of screws) and took me nearly 3 hours. Top tip is not to fully tighten any screws until all others are in place, or some will not align with the holes. When finished it looks good though and we're very happy with it.
