We found the slim rectangular design particularly efficient for stacking, as the 5.5 by 4 by 2 cm dimensions allow them to fit into shallow drawers where deeper boxes would fail. The clear plastic is lightweight and thin, which keeps the overall footprint small, yet the build quality remains sturdy enough for daily use without any signs of cracking. They are a brilliant solution for categorizing vast collections of beads or screws while keeping everything visible and tidy. The functionality is spot on, featuring a reliable clasp that snaps shut to keep contents secure even if the box is dropped. We were impressed by how well the lids stayed closed, ensuring that minute items like jewelry findings don't migrate between containers. Very handy for my small engineering bits.

The boxes from LJY arrived neatly packed into a plain cardboard box and inside you’ll find sixty pieces neatly stacked into three layers and separated with clear plastic, paper and bubblewrap. All of which did a perfect job as all the boxes arrived in pristine condition with no notable blemishes or defects. I gave one a quick check and it’s right at the claimed size of 5.5cm, 4cm and 2cm, though keep in mind that is the external dimensions measured at the widest point, which is the lid. They’re very much the generic hinged plastic box you’ll see used as packaging on small items like magnets or earrings etc. So if you’re someone who needs to ship, store or sort a bunch of small objects, then they’re a great solution. I’m specifically using them for organising my ever-growing collection of my most used fasteners, brass heat-set inserts and magnets that I use for projects and they work well. The lids are quite secure and they can handle being lifted even when filled to the top with brass heat-set inserts or screws. My one minor nitpick is that the supplied sticky labels are tiny, so you’ll probably have to work out your own labelling solution, unless you’re able to fit your hand-writing inside a 17mm by 7mm space. It’s a minor issue that can be solved with a sharpie, paint marker or label printer, so it’s not really something I would hold against them. At £14.99 for 60 boxes of this size they are 2–3 times what you’d pay for them if you’re willing to import them directly. But if you’re after this exact size and colour of hinged plastic boxes for something on short notice and you’re okay with paying this much, then I have no issue recommending them.

I have non-adhesive NFC tags, and wanted a way to mound them nicely, but non-permanently, to things in my house. These work perfectly in my use case. I added an adhesive magnet to the back one of the storage containers, put my NFC tag in it, and it worked! Just what I wanted! (Oh, and I have a left over for other tags!)

These containers are very small, only just a smidgen over 2in x 1.5in. If you were to use them for board game components, that equates to 12 standard-sized meeple. These will be really great for games that have multiple components but small quantities of each. These will also be great for my beads and jewelry findings. The plastic is thick and the latch is very secure. I appreciate that this set comes with a sheet of tiny labels. This way I can put what material beads are made out of or what exactly a game token is. This is a lot of containers for the money and, if you have the need for them, this is a great deal.

The latch mechanism has a nice click to it, and it doesn't open too easily. Got these for organizing board game pieces for faster setup and breakdown without bags. Also used some for travel kits to keep small items together.
